I honestly loved the Star Trek minimates. It sucked that they died right when they started to get into the Next Generation and DS9 as I really would have collected the heck out of them, but as pointed out, it was not meant to be. I suppose we can look at it that we got the entire original crew at least, including minor roles like Chapel and Rand, but the thought of no NG, DS9, and yes, even Voyager and Enterprise, saddens me. I look back at the final waves when the non-Original Series stuff was being released and honestly, kinda wish they had left out the movie stuff to add more NG and DS9 characters.

Anyone happen to have a regular verion of GB1 Ray with Stay Puft? I never saw that one in the wild unlike everyone else and he's an annoying gap in my team (right now Gooey Ray is in his place). Also, how many people have the GB2 4-pack? How is it?

Seriously, what's not to like? We finally get the Lizard to add to our Spidey rogues, a hoverchair Professor X, which for a while was thought unlikely to happen due to a 'no vehicle' deal with Marvel, a 6-armed Spidey to open up the chances of Spiral and Doppelganger, a modern Warpath to add to the X-Force team, a bulked up Thing (now where is a bulked up Hulk), and Doombots for Dr. Doom to command.

Went back to TRU Sunday morning and they had the Firefighters on the shelf now. Both versions. Is there really any major difference between the Fire Chief versions and the regular ones outside of the different colored helmets? I'm not seeing any.

I just reeeeeeally want that hoverchair Professor X to go with my 90s X-Men... I would also like them to bring out a 90s Colossus to complete the 90s Blue/Gold X-Men teams. ...And maybe a Forge and/or Banshee (with variant green/yellow costume Banshee) Can you imagine what an updated Colossus could look like? T_T Want...so...bad....

Don't know how the cape would look on Loki, but the AoA Rogue's glove parts work great on 90s Rogue since I felt DST/AA kinda went cheap by not giving her gloves ends yet did for AoA Rogue.

Found these guys at TRU Friday morning and bought two of the Police sets and one Special Ops. They didn't have any Firefighters oddly enough on the shelf. Basically the only things I have to complain about is one of my Special Ops has two right arms and missing a gun holster, and the same faces used on the figures. Come on DST, mix it up a little and give us some diversity. Women, Asian, Black, Hispanic, etc... I switched out the heads of most of them with spare minimates I had like others I see have done to theirs in the meantime. I hope to see more of the vehicles like what we were shown at events soon too.

I so HATE my local TRU. They removed the Marvel Minimates tag around the time these guys started to show up at other TRUs in the country being all like "I guess we won't be getting them." I went there today to see in the Marvel toy aisle a whole row of Reed/Doom and Human Torch/Thing sets on a peg. No Sue/Mole Man or Namor/Atlantean Soldier sets. They weren't there the day before. (I stopped back in today because I was checking the nearby K-Mart for DC Universe wave 15) So I'm glad I bought these all online earlier because otherwise I would be really, really TICKED. Hopefully it was a fellow minimate collector, though I'm doubting it since none of the non-TRU exclusive sets looked to have been bought... If not a collector...stupid scalpers...

Only one I'd be interested in in this set would be the Iron Man simply because it's his most recent armor, though it seems kinda 'meh' to me compared to the previous Iron Mans we've gotten.

If we could get a 90s Colossus, both the X-Men and Excalibur teams of the 90s would be complete and all that would be left to finish is X-Force (which has Shatterstar and Cannonball coming to add to that) and X-Factor (which we haven't had anyone made yet from)

No Sly Cooper? I'm disappointed. The one series Sony owned game franchise I would really love toys off and still nothing. >_>

Happy day! XD Meggan at last! New Juggernaut with bigger build and new pieces galore. New Nightcrawler that uses the Wolverine shoulder pads and saves those of us whom could not get him for a reasonable price from his first release! X-Force members Cannonball and Shatterstar! Magik and Warlock! (squeals like an excited little girl) Marvel Minimates continues to show why it kicks so much butt. Now...show us a new bigger build Rhino DST, and ALL will be perfect. X3

Looking through various stuff about Marvel, there a lot of characters in the Marvel Universe (alternate universes included), but one has to think...what characters are most likely not ever going to see the light in Minimate form and why? Here are a few I think won't be... Man-Thing - He'd require lots of new sculpting and bulking up to give up that look of a creature that came out of a swamp and probably be too costly for DST to do. Power Pack (Zero-G, Lightspeed, Mass Master, Energizer) - They're kids and would probably require tinier minimate bodies to look like kids. Otherwise, they'd probably look odd next to the other 'adult' minimates. Honestly, I could be wrong, and maybe DST will surprise us, but who knows. What is everyone else's thoughts on whom probably won't be made into a Minimate?

Got my F4 minimates in the mail today. I was thinking as I headed to my local TRU today that it would be my luck that they would have them now that I ordered them, but...nope. No Marvel Minimates at all. They did get in the wave 2 re-release of Ghostbusters and finally found the Stealth Jet from the MAX line. Man the Thing is fugly. Otherwise the other figures are pretty good. Nice to have updated F4 team members... Now where's our updated Juggernaut and Rhino?

Not getting 1st Appearance Angel to go with my 1st Appearance X-Men boxset. because of the variant mix-ups. THAT'S a true horror story. Seriously though...my blue tinted Iceman's leg breaking at the knee joint... I got a new one, but I cringe thinking how much it costed me to get it.

Bought a set of the regular versions each. Tweaked the Creature from the Black Lagoon's fins on his feet a bit to stay in his legs. Aside from that, my Larry Talbot has sadly two right arms. It's been ages since I last had a QC issue were there were two of the same limbs on a minimate. (Lex Luthor and original Black Cat) Why are these things only going to be released two movie based lines per year again? I want the Dracula and Frankenstein sets now! >_O

I think the big thing is that they're more modern interpretations of the Fantastic Four really that has people after them. One of the reasons I'm guilty of actually. >_> Of course I only bought the F4 members boxes. Could care less about the Namor and blue Ares...er, Atlantean Soldier as I already have a good enough pair of Namors from previous releases.

Well my local Toys R Us sucks. They removed all tags for Marvel Minimates stuff because "We hadn't gotten any in in a number of weeks." They had the Universal Monsters ones, but was too annoyed to care and came home and ordered the Fantastic 4 off the online store while I still could. Seriously I am SO sick of exclusives. If a store isn't going to carry a line that is supposed to be exclusive to it, then there's no point in giving them exclusives.

Well, I think a number of us don't have him due to getting into Minimates a bit late (I know I sadly don't) and given his outrageous prices on ebay, it'd be great to see an updated version of him. That way people who don't have him get him at last, and those that have the original one can determine if they care or not about it when the box arrives at their home. I'd still like him to be in his classic costume like the original version was made to look like myself, though maybe they could create some updated feet for him somehow that have the C3 holes on them and maybe make it so his chest isn't so blocky, but this is all just things I'D like to see. And of course, include swords. Given Nightcralwer's current status in the X-Men comics as of late, this might be the only we'll even get another Nightcrawler again in Minimate form for some time.

Yay! Civilian type minimates to inhabit the city of Marvel Minimates and stuff. Now we just need like random citizens in a pack and maybe some building sets. >_> Seriously, I want that.

I think actually it might be molded to the helmet. Like he has a seperate hairpiece and then the helmet with molded on parts for the hair underneath. That's just how it looks to me.

Please, please let Meggan, Colossus, and Nightcrawler be in this set. They'll match perfectly with the rest of the 90s X-Men characters... And plus it would also complete two teams... X-Men and Excalibur... Leaving only X-Force and X-Factor to go.

Ugh. TRU near me was stocking today (apparently changed their stocking day from Thursday to Friday), but no new Marvel Minimates. Hopefully next week given the shelf for them here is empty.

So far no new TRU wave of minimates...went to my local store today, but I get the feeling within the next week or two we should probably start seeing them, don't quote me on that. Just a feeling I have given out TRU's pegs have been empty for a few weeks.

Just a word of warning to those whom have the K-On! Figmas Mio, Yui, and most likely Azusa... http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/toyark/16842...tml#post5180331 I checked my Mio and Yui after reading this to find that the instruments were beginning to stick to the figures on the backs where they touched the figures. No paint rubbed off onto my figures unlike the person in the link above, but the backs of the guitar and bass where they touched the figures are smudged now. I'm guessing something with the glossy paint against the rubber used on the blazers is the reason. So until then, I'm keeping the instruments off Mio, Yui, and my recently arrived Azunyan... Maybe tape on the back would remedy this... Anyway, thought I'd throw this out there to those whom also have K-On! Figmas to warn them.
