so any thoughts on when these might hit? i caved and bought the beautiful new Rogue statue, so between these and waves 68 and 69 i'm about tapped! hope my nieces and nephews don't want anything for Christmas.

"a great deal of pissing and moaning" he says. like 35 pages worth! i've never shopped for blind bags, and when i worked at barnes and noble and kids would buy different types, i thought "why the hell would anyone do this? thank goodness my minimates don't!" also kind of why i think they'd sell better at hot topic or suncoast/fye. just more kids with money to burn. anyway, i'm gonna feel these out, like literally i hope. other blind bags i've seen at one of my lcs are all on a table in the center of the store, so fingers crossed i can figure out who's who before i start throwing my money at the guy behind the counter.

i think these would sell a lot better at hot topic or fye/suncoast than they do at walgreens. you've got tweens and teenagers frequenting these stores with money to burn. at walgreens, you have old people and mothers who are in a hurry to get in and out with their kids. any word on when the blind bags will start hitting local shops?

anyone need drax/gamora, thanos/thor, taskmaster/iron spider, iron man/black widow?

a little bit of both. i actually forgot there were packaged shots on the first page and they look great. i would also love tray shots out of box, or even some new pics of them out of the trays! i'm very excited about these as this is one of my favorite teams, but i'm also trying to score the beautiful new Rogue statue that came out yesterday and i can't swing both the same month...

loved animated and aoa Morph. was nice to have the little history lesson, even if i'm already familiar with it.

it's excellent. when i learned it was ending with issue 12, i stopped reading it.. but i'm still buying the issues. i want to wait until the story is finished so i can read it from beginning to end in one sitting.

what about Moira (tho i have a pretty decent custom), Lilandra, Gladiator, Legion... all great characters we've yet to see.

i'd be surprised if we got Vi(?), but we know the designs are out there for all 6 of them. (omg actually i'd love a the Vision 4 pack!). if we don't get the full team, i'd for sure venture my guesses as Ms Marvel and Cho Hulk. love that cover and would buy a set. also, Dr Strange's cape... is that a re-use of wave 68 Storm's cape with an added collar?

Colossus was much leaner in his early days, tho still very muscular, so this version of him is on point and the muscle detail is nice, as the original lacked it. i agree that as a character, he isn't as big as Juggernaut or the Hulk, so i don't think we *need* a bulked up version like some other mates did/still do. i do think if we get another Colossus, it'd be nice for variation. Heinous's custom bulked up Colossus is a great example. he still looks appropriate for his character, especially a modern version, cuz he is pretty big guy now. if that Juggernaut Colossus didn't have the muscle misprint or shoulders for the Juggy helmet, he'd be about perfect.

wow good timing on bringing this thread back to life! i think Banshee's new cape pieces look cool with his arms up like that. i think if they're angled out a little bit more to the side instead of straight up, so the bottom is going behind him, they'll look really neat. does Storm have an alternate head with her regular eyes, or just the white eyes? i notice that her mate on the back of the box is the only mate whose image is different from the original team shot (the pic i used at the start of the thread). did something change? i also noticed a long time ago she was much larger than the other mates in the original image. giant sized, if you will. maybe she just wasn't available at the time the original pics were taken? this whole wave for me is a must, if mostly just so the full team can be displayed together. even Colossus is still a nice update, if not entirely different from the original. the muscle detail is nice. i'd like to get a fully bulked up Colossus some day, tho, with the bigger arms and legs to go with the chest piece. if outback Colossus'd had those extra pieces, i think he would have been real nice.

i don't know if i'm just not seeing it, but i couldn't find the original thread for this wave. estimated release is around August/September, right? do we have a more specific date on lock, yet? i'm pretty excited for these and wanna make sure i've got a pocket full of cash to throw at my lcs man when they're released.
