I think TRU and AFX are going to compare notes and each one does a set with different characters, giving us 8 of the 10. And just to stick it to the lot of you, I ultra spoofed my IP and voted multiple times. 1 vote for everyone, and 9 more for spidey.

After thinking about it, I understand why the lizard didnt make it. imagin an extra crotch piece with a tail attached like scorpian, a removable lab coat with a hole in the back for the tail plug to go through, a sculpted slip over head, curt connors sad looking self underneath, a hairpiece, sculpted lizard hands that fit like gloves do with torn shirt sculpted around it, alternate human hands and an extra half arm where the end is sculpted to look like his sleave is folded up and pinned. Maybe a regular arm with it and the lizard can have his own arms with venom claw hands. I can even see more parts, but if they are going to do the lizard, maybe they are witing to be able to do him where he can turn into connors? Vulture, new neck piece and wings. An arm band with the wings sculpted on would be neat, and I could also see them doing something like the man bat mate for C3. Oh, and he would need feather wristbands. Feathers are cool. Edited because Nessex beat me to the man bat punch!

And I dream of a world with arnim zola, stilt man, and devil dinosaur, So yeah. Didnt DST say something like, there is a possibility of a stilt man?

I would drop the hellfire club lower on my list and the mystiques, and add Arcade, Proteus, and Mastermind. Sauron would definately be higher. Blob, deathbird, living monolith, silver samurai, stryfe (I know I know) and wendigo would be really cool too As for avengers villains, Zola and Modok. Then, Zemo, Strucker, Mandarin, Grim Reaper, Whirlwind, The Klaw, The Wreckers, Crimson Dynamo. Maybe not that order, except the first 2.

Well, I like them. They are no arnim zola or baron zemo, but they are nice. I always wanted to see electro's mask on a mate and it looks like it will be cool. Now Im more curious as to how they would attach a tail for the lizard since he doesn't have a backpack. Also, I am totally with TM2 on this. I cant stand the older minimates that dont have a needed tampo going around the body. Witchblade is a brime example of a cool mate failing from an incomplete tampo. I liked ult spiderwoman's story and I was hoping this mate would be cool, but we dont even get the full costume. They do have time to correct this, maybe paint her girly face on the other side of the head and flip it like the secret invasion skrull heads did, and the costume tampo can still be fixed. This is just control art, they got all the way to paint proto's for marvel zombies with the hulk looking one way, and the chest tampo changed to a crappier one. So, any paint issues here may not be a problem if we talk about it enough (and Matt reads our comments on it). When does the game for 31 start?

The short answer is Takara is a japanese toy company. They made the toys Hasbro rebranded into Transformers 25 years ago. Once Transofrmers took off, they made the Japanese versions. Right now, since they are not bound by US toys law they can make TF's that the US can't or has to modify to bring over in "unnacceptable" ways. (go to any TF board and search for "short smoke stacks", you'll get the idea) In recent times, they re-release US TF's with different, often more extensive and more "show accurate", paint jobs. For this they are praised and Hasbro is evil. I know, I don't get it either. I'm sure TM2 chopperface could explain it, but we're veering off point. Which was it's always fun to find out who the "good guys" and "bad guys" are in any new collector community. Its like this. Takara is the company that will honor the history of a series and release toys the way fans want them to honor the origianl figures. They do this with steller pain apps, stickers, classic chrome detailing and their excellent engineering. Hasbro is the brother company who gave us a red character like powerglide in a nasty one color off white. Be happy hasbro isnt making minimates. *Vomits on self*

You guys are funny. So everyone was bummed when we heard house of M spidey (except me since I like the story) and everyone got psyched for scorpian, then moral dropped again for spidergirl and lower for the vault guy, the everyones psyched again for electro. Now its down again. Looking at realease history, the figure with scorpian is highly likey to be something we dont want that much. I am certain it will not be devil dinosaur or even kang. We have 1 villain/villain 2 pack in 30 waves, so be prepared tomorrow for some dissapointment, especially when we find out spidey is the army builder. Maybe it just feels that way because of getting the last 4 waves full of awesome stuff with mostly new characters. Im not really dissapointed because I understand the business decisions they are making is moving us toward characters like devil dinosaur or arnim zola. Maybe even Kang. We are 1 mate away from the 2 lineups of the sinister six and I am sure we will get the vulture we need to do it.

I haven't seen a post on here of anyone that got the TRU wave 2 mates and opened them, not the union jack set, but the mates from the heroes and villains sets and the punisher box. I have the box sets but I wanted to see what the package looked like open, see if there are any extra accessories or anything else. Did I miss a thread that has all this?

OOHHH I love the idea of a stegron variant. But instead of lizard as the main fig and stegron as the variant, have a more popular character fill that spot. No, I'm not talking about a spidey variant true believer, although that is a fantastic idea, I suggest the main figure be Devil Dinosaur. Anyone that has read nextwave knows that this is an incredibly popular villain (Beyonder level), and I would grab multiples for sure. Kids would love to play with spiderman mates and their parents would buy other sets as well because dinosaurs are educational. How many of us played with our GI Joes vs jurassic park when we were children? We could continue this pattern by having a mutant themed wave including Mamomax. That's pretty much it. Not only is he one of the horde of laziest possible villains (the "evil clone," or "evil doppleganger," or "evil guy who wears the same costume but different colors"), but he was also a Liefeld creation. I'm still having difficulties enjoying Deadpool as much as I should, because I know where he comes from, and that is a dark, dark place. Also, I think he looks incredibly stupid, though the Minimate might be good for some customs. HAHAHAHAHAHA Liefield HAHAHAHA. The dark and evil liefield. Cable and deadpool are cousins with the honorable savage dragon HAHAHAHAHAHA. That made my morning. You can't say stryfe is there to create confusion for readers without accepting that is also the case for cable. Whats more retar-um confusing than shooting your baby into the future, then cloning it. Actually Im kind of hazy on how exactly stryfe came to be.

I like this idea. army building sentinels would be easier and we could get more obscure characters like ultimo as a bank, or awesome android as a carrying case or something with an exclusive mad thinker! Or, and hear me out, we could have a tin minimate case of Kang, with an exclusive kang mate in it!!!!

If you look at the angled photo of the bullseye set you can see the side of the card with his full costume on. Nice. I was unemployed once wheen there was a bunch of mates coming out, and boy did that suck. I did a good job of playing catch up though.

As wonderful as that might be, AA could probably whip up something a little more conventional for us: They have the technology. They have the capability to build the world's first Modok Minimate. Better than a lump of clay. Better, stronger, faster. He's the best he is at what he does, and what he does is sit in a chair.

Modok is number 2 on my list, though whenever I imagine him all I can think of is a lump of clay with minimate arms and legs shoved into it and a face drawn into the clay with a permanent marker.

Why isnt anyone complaining about the fact we are not even getting a villain? We are getting a henchman, and I personally would like to see more of an outcry about this.

I love the spirit of Kang here. After Kang gets a mate everyone focus their positive energy on an Arnim Zola mate. :biggrin:

2 Gargans in 2 sets and 2 Normans in the same two sets is what really has me peaved about this. That norman outfit in the TB box is terribly lame. Maybe the suit will save it. As for Penance, are the spikes on his costume on the inside too? If they are then yes he is very emo. I will still be getting this set, but Im more excited about johnny blaze ghost rider. Im going to have my Penance mate getting owned by Nitro.

It was great until Norman showed up. The whole Norman is a hero and everyone is going to forget all the bad stuff he's done is totally unbelievable and ludicrous. This in my opinion is a waste of a thunderbolts set. I love gargan venom, but gargan in 2 sets that are supposed to complement each other is retarded. And norman in 2 sets is retarded too, they are totally wasting space. Radioactive man is cool but the other characters have only been bolts for a short time. This set is missing Zemo, swordsman, songbird, atlas, the beatle, mach IV, and moonstone. RM and maybe gargan plus any of the 2 I listed would have been a much cooler set, especially since many bolts are obscure enough that they may not likely get into another assortment, unlike Venom and Norman who are all over the place these days. Speedball=LAME, it is shameful that such a nice costume design (penance) was wasted on that whiny little baby. Please feel free to debate me on this.
