I was hoping for a symbol on the chest block. I know it would be a pain to know what the symbol is but at least it would be included.

I was mostly annoyed that they replaced him with 'Dick' because it has pretty much been established that Master Richard does not want the role. That was the whole reason he left to go to Bludhaven, so he could stop being in Bruce's shadowy shadow. Then the whole little brat thing made me just a little more mad.

To add onto what BHM posted when buying lots look for high dollar figures. The lot may go for more but it will pan out better. For instance I bought a lot or 45 'mates with a Stealth Iron Man in it for $110 little over the $2 mark but definitely worth it. Did you mention the 3 inchers?

Maybe it has been mentioned and I didn't see it in this oh so long thread that I can not be bothered to read carefully, but I can see these being single packed which would make them perfect to sell at game stores. The singles being different color variations they could even do singles of aliens and then singles of the soldiers (or whatever name they have as I have never played the game).

Some seriously kick arse figures coming out. Gygor, Tytus, Whiplash, Baron Marzo, She-Ra, Keldor, Mo-larr/missing tooth Skeletor, and an accessory pack. I am broke just thinking about these. I am scared to find out the price tag on Tytus.

BHM-Not picking on just using your example, the big difference between 'Nazi emblazoned' Red Skull and these (to my eyes) is that marvel mates are focused on multiple age groups. Tarot is aimed at an adult collector much in the way that Silence of the Lambs was or Godfather would have been.

I did not realize they were 3 inchers. That makes me miss them less. I know 3 inch was the original size but I have always thought that they work better in the 2 inch scale.

I am also a member over at he-man.org. Can I tell you how much I hate people who feel a sense of entitlement? Yes we here tend to bitch about various things but we get over it. I bring this up because I am excited for this 2 pack and feel that it will be hard to come by solely because of scalpers. Most of the people have said it will peg warm because they don't want a slight variation on something they already have. I know I am getting it cause I am an idiot completist. I know there are many DCUC completists out there also. At 30 dollars a piece these will not be produced in high numbers and thus I will be surprised to see more than 3 in a case. IF these happen, I think my wife will buy them for herself. That is a dang long time for mates though, and considering that fact that typically they run behind schedule I wouldn't expect to see these till this time next year.

I disagree I think this was a win-win or lose-win situation which ended up being a lose win. If they had made the play there was a good chance that the Manning led 2nd best last 2 minute offense would have also scored. But by not making the play they made Manning start from behind the opposing 40 yd which is a hard spot to start from. Colt went 3 and out giving the Saints the opportunity that they deserved. I feel that losing this game was worth it cause it wasn't lost by not playing it was the better players and plays won.

off side kick was the decider. This was the first game I have ever seen where it was about winning rather than not losing. So many times teams play it safe and honestly the Saints played the percentages better. I was amazed at a lot of the moves they made. He made decisions that most Superbowl veteran coaches would not have. Great game. I actually stood for the whole second half.

I assume 'D**ks' means Dereks or some such because I was not unkind, but I will say that I can see the idea of having a second thread for this specific deviation of Iron Man 2 Minimates. I merely pointed to the previous thread so he would know what was already being said. It would seem that both GH and I were thinking the same thing at the same time.

I do not think Avatar will "conquor[sic] all" I have a feeling they will win for cinematography and visual effects, but everything else was fairly mundane.
