Dio pretty much said it perfectly for me - I enjoy collecting minimates but hate having to spend more than double the price. Sure, I've had some people help me in the past or I've been lucky enough to come across an auction for a lose version but to date I've probably spent on average three times more than I'd have liked to too get all the exclusives I want, but fear this could be my one and only chance to grab them. And now we've got three I'm really keen to get plus one I'd take or leave opportunity pending - do I wait three months and hope they'll come down in price but risk never having that luck or jump at the first $30+ action to ensure I got them, but know I've put a dent in my wallet? I have been helped in the past, especally in recent months, but that's assuming a) they've seen my comments amoung the other international/down on their luck collectors, are able to ship to the UK (some eBay sellers down right refuse to, implying there may be more of a problem that I'm not aware of) and c) able to get their hands on an extra G Hulk/HB Iron Man and Betsy/Lockjaw that they can ship to me. I know there are some out there who say "you can't get all exclusives" - fair enough, but I already have my arms tied behind my back becuase my parents happened to want to return to the UK rather than staying in the US.

I find it rather funny that this set is reviewed when I'm reight now trying to track down a dupe Ult Cap for a custom/quick custom I'm working on I was about to bring up the bit in bold myself. To be honest I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the review, as I though it's something that should have been highlighted. I've taken to having my hold the gun by the end of the rifle to prevent hand warping. I agree it's a shame we didn't get either a matching paint job on the under shirt or perhaps an alternativel set of undershirt/vest arms. It looked to me like he was going to have a vest/-t-shirt but for whatever reason we never got he alternative arms to go with it.

I know a seller on eBay, "Wonder Twins Toys" who has the TRU Bullseye and Moonstone loose. Both auctions started at $0.99 and have only had a couple of bids, so they're still pretty cheap. I've used this seller a few times in the past, so they're well worth keeping an eye on (but I hope we don't get into a bidding war in the future ).

I did like the What If New Fantastic Four from a few years ago, and think it would make for a great five pack. While it would mean yet another Wolverine, Spidey and Iron Man, all three sported an interesting hybrid of their classic costume and the FF4 look and personally I'd like to see those made into minimates.

Allies of Spider-Man: Scarlet Spider - updated with removeable mask and both a blonde and brown hair piece Spidey 2099 - updated with talon hands (Venom's would sorta work) and removeable mask, with his fangs exposed on the face below Spider-Woman 3 Dr Curt Connors (unless the upcoming Lizard minimate has pieces that allow you to change him) I'm screaming for an updated/properly done version of my two favourite Spidey costumes as much as the Kang fans are screaming for him. I'm also a HUGE fan of the slip on masks. I don't care if it makes his head look a little too big or not, I like having the option of un-masked Peter holding his mask. This could also be a great way to get Mattie Franklin and Curt was really just filler MI13 Captain Britian - 3rd Costume but perhaps include spare pieces that will turn him into the first...? Pete Wisdom Black Knight - civie style costume but with extra armour pieces for full armour/classic costume Spitfire Because British superheroes are awesome! Sky Fathers Balder the Brave Odin Zeus Athena IMO Odin and Zeus are way more awesome than Kang and need to be made . I'm a huge fan of the mystical side of Marvel and would personally like more characters from that side of the universe to go with Hercules and Thor. I'd rather see the Noir villain over the classic costume, as I'm SICK to death of it! We also need an updated/properly done version of the ever awesome 2099 costumed. BADLY! Alternatively I'd love to see the Captain Universe costumes made into a box set. While it does mean a second version of classic Cap Universe, I like the costume and love the idea of Cap Universe 2099. Slingers - I agree with anyone else who's suggested them. Cosmic Marvel Quasar - classic or new costume; I like both but maybe have parts to change him between the two? Nova - classic costume Gamora - classic costume Super Skrull - I think he'd benefit from an update. Plus it would allow them to re-use some of the Mr Fantastic pieces they've made

I'm certainly interested. I grew up loving the franchise, and the various ninjas are amoung my favourite characters. However it has been announced some fo the D-List characters are gone for good and to be honest, I'm a little worried some of my favourites (Rain and Ermac) will be thrown aside in favour of the more well known ones. Otherwise I'll be keeping an eye on this one. And I hope they make a movie out of that trailer. I think it's a great direction for the franchise.

Thanks Bob Necro posting I've been collecting a lot of spare and scrap parts recently to give me more to work with. So far I'm focusing on making a Mon-El custom (need to paint him and MAYBE look at doing a decal), throwing together any armoured based pieces i get to see what I can come up with and collecting the various parts I need to create my various original characters, two of which I've succeeded in making below: Giomitri Pepin Uncle to my main OC and all round badass, Giomitri was one of the first I wanted to make due to him being one of my favourites. He was pretty easy to put together though I was hesitant to use parts from an army builder instead of one of my dupes, but it fits in well with his character. Plus he has an awesome goatee, like me I have toyed with panting his trident blue (he forms it from water) and maybe his pants black, though I do like having them blue as it keeps to the water theme he has going. Reilly Pepin Yes that is USAgent's chest on backwards . I wanted some chainmail due to him being a nobel hero/leader/knight like character. I used movie Deadpool for the face, which worked pretty well IMO as I view him as a serious character. The sword was a trimmed broad sword I recently bought from Luke (though it doesn't look too good in the photo), the cape from Gamora and the rest of the body from various bits and pieces I have lying around. I do like the platinum blonde hair he has but I may change it further down the line

I'm getting a little sick by this "shop exclusive features". I realise it's all to get money and stuff but a) I can't remember the last time ANY exclusive like that has been available in the UK and b ) I've heard you won't be able to share the codes any more. Once it's been used, that's it; "gone for good". However if there's anyway I can get all the exclusive costumes announced so far, I bloody well will (especally if I can get Captain Universe 2099. Anyone else thing the Cap Universe costumes would make an awesome boxset?!). Rant aside, 2099 is pretty much the only universe that would interest me and sure enough, we got him. I can't wait to see what he plays like.

To be honest I was only really interested in regular Thing, Spidey, Lizard and the army builder. I've never been a huge X-Fan bar a few awesome characters like Beast, Nightcrawler and Multiple Man. Xavier and Warpath both look good but I don't have a dire need for either of them. I'm not surprised it's six arm Spidey, though I am glad it's not generic costume re-release #35. I am a little dissapointed he won't have a slip on mask but I always knew I was in the minority of people who prefered it if Spidey has one. Lizard looks alright, but I am dissapointed with the head. I was expecting them to re-use Battle Beast parts. Still he doesn't look too bad otherwise, but I know they could have done better. Thing looks good and I'm glad they bulked up the arm like Luke suggested. The army builder looks simpel and great so I guess it'll be back to scowering eBay for as many as I can get my hands on .

Nice collection of customs. Love the White Lantern Deadman one, and I may have to borrow the recipie if that's ok .

Funny someone mentioned Movie GG and Doc Ock. I was thinking about them last night. Dissapointed we may not see any more GB mates this side of Christmas after Wave 4/SDCC exclusives. Also a little annoyd we probably won't see anything from RGB or Rookie. Also a bit dissapointed we might not see Pirates until 2011, especally seeing as how we've seen previews of them a few times (Toy Fair and Carry Case preview).

I used to be a big fan of anime and especally manga, and would spend lord knows how much on the English adaptasions. However about two years ago I just started to lose interested. I was also really getting into American comics and just found them more interesting in general. I've pretty much sold my entire collection, bar One Piece as I still follow it and Rave as it was another favourite, although I may get rid of it eventually.

I know I'm likely to be hit with all sorts of things for saying this, but after seeing the screen shots of 2099 in Shattered Dimension, I REALLY want to see him updated (preferbly with a slip-on mask)! Easily the second best Spidey costume ever (number one is, of course, Scarlet ).

My eyes went straight to mrwhitecooks' comment. Was he simply being a troll or have we found someone who didn't like Minimates? If so, why not? Anyway I've never heard of these before. If they do some kind of Blackest Night/New Guardians/Kyle one, I may check it out. Otherwise I'm not interested.

Sorry to necro post, but I wanted to ask a question after looking at the back of the AA T-1000 box, however: So, this may sound a bit stupid but I'm correct in thinking we never got the non-cop Liquid T-1000 from the back of the wave 2 pack? T-1000 is easily my favourite Terminator character so I want to ensure I get all of them.

Can anyone actually see a difference between the grey/tan from the GB1 costumes and the grey/tan from the boxset? When I looked earlier I was under the impression the GB2 boxset was more tan than grey. I kinda hope it's more tan as it would match the GB costume I have in my wardrobe (friends zombie/undead themed party) and I feel having three sets of the guys, each with slightly different coloured costumes would look great. Plus it's been a while since I last watched it but I was under the impression they wore dark grey and tan overalls.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! (with SCIENCE of course ) I first saw this when I was browsing eBay and saw the auction. I'm not actually too fond of those Cable guns as they really stretched his hands. In general I've never cared for X-Force old or new. I'd be tempted by the Deadpool as he seems to have some cool weapons but that's about it. I'm hoping the Heroic Age boxset is better.

Some sources say they don't have the rights, others imply they might and/or could get it in the not too distant future. Granted a quick lick of paint can turn the existing mates into the RGB. I'm sure others like myself who got both boxsets 1 and 2 and TRU waves 1 and 2 have some spare GB mates to experiment with, but with the ghosts they fought and their more unique hair designs and colours, I feel there's more they can do. Heck, why not release Egon's RGB hair piece in both platinum blond and brown. I'll still get the boxset as I've made it my mission to get all the GB mates (even though I missed the Tully and Slimer re-release and have yet to get the promo mate). Plus it's a slight variant on the regular uniform, which I like.

I like the fact we're getting slime blower Ray and Winston and if the tan is a little different from GB1 (looks it) I guess it's OK to have Peter and Egon to complete the look. While I do like how they look, I do feel GB1 Janine or even the four in their "Real Ghostbusters" colours would have been better.

I must have missed this memo, I love the fact there's two very different types of Boxers in SSF4 and although I haven't played SSF4 yet I can't wait to give them both a whirl. Maybe I'm wrong but I've never seen a fan of both boxers. I don't browse many forums these days, but I do occasionally check the Gamefaq forum for any interesting news and everyone seemed to be in one camp or another (much like SFII vs SFIII). Plus I'll admit I got a little... OTT with my reply . Had I not been quoted, I'd have probably deleted or toned it back.

I want Dudley vs Balrog! Then I can pose the Gutter Trash that is Balrog KOed on the ground with Dudley standing on top. Why is he gutter trash? You do know that in Japan his name is M. Bison, which is Mike Bison, and that he's based on Mike Tyson. I'm pretty sure you don't want him knocking on your front door for insulting a character based on him. I take it then you don't get the reference. First of all, Dudley is British much like myself. I have a tendency to like British characters in fighting games. He's also portrayed as a gentleman, again another quality I like and prefer to the more thuggish Balrog/M. Bison. This, combined with the way he plays makes him one of my all time favourite characters in Street Fighter. With regards to minimates, think of Dudley to me the way Kang is to some people - the line would be perfect with his inclusion. Second I'm a HUGE SFIII fan, and feel it's better than II. I love the changes they made to the mechanics, such as the parry system and "choose your super". I think it was a step in the right direction. I also felt the animation is amazing. The detail on the sprites and the way they move was brilliant. The voice acting was a nice touch as well, and really suited the characters. And I just prefer III's roster. As classic and legendary as II's is, I feel it's overused. III has a charm about it that is often overlooked just becuase it has more "freaks" (even though I'd say the numbers are around equal). I actual prefer beating Gill to Bison/Vega due to the challange his supers (especally his ressurection ability) pose on you. Third, Dudley has various quotes like "Gutter trash", "You have no dignity" and especally "Lets fight like gentlemen". The way his says it really adds to the charm of the character (at least in my opinion). Fourth it's a joke ! Much like Ninjas vs Pirates, the SF fandom has either Dudley fans or Balrog fans. No one seems to like both.
