  1. The fact that L.A. distributors received their product on the West Coast a week or so before everyone else did doesn't change the fact that the advertised official release date from D-S-T was October 17, 2007. Our shipment arrived via UPS on October 16, and all pre-orders went out on the very next day -- exactly as advertised. And according to our D-S-T rep, you can soon expect the practice of shops in the Los Angeles area being able to get their product weeks early right off the loading dock before all container contents have been rerouted to the Memphis distribution center to be halted in D-S-T's attempt for release dates to be honored nation-wide. At the end of the day, it's obvious that you have absolutely no intention of buying these from us even if I offered them for free and arranged for one of the film's cast members to personally deliver them directly to your doorstep. So the information I'm apparently "pimping" is not directed towards you anyway.
  2. Remarkable that $0.88 is a show-stopper for you, but that's okay. BTTF.com's unique services & product offerings certainly aren't for everyone. The label goes on almost all BTTF.com products, which most are much bigger than Minimates so they don't seem nearly as intrusive I guess. We currently do not have a smaller one, plus I don't know what an optimum location would have been than where those were applied.
  3. Honestly in the 15 years we've been in business, I've never been told that our label was a "blight" to the products we sell, but your criticism is well noted and will be taken into consideration for future shipments. Thanks for the feedback. However, please do be aware that it is our understanding that the 2-pack exclusive is set to have a color label of our logo applied to the window at the factory by DST themselves, which is apparently the way they handle distributor exclusives to indicate an exclusive product for a particular vendor.
  4. Regarding our pricing of the 2-pack exclusive, it is currently priced at exactly the price our rep at DST suggested we price it at based upon up-front prepaid wholesale costs, product shipping, labor, packing & handling costs, and long-term storage fees.
  5. Regardless of the fact that the label is easily removed, please email me at the address given on the business card included with your shipment including your order number, and I'll send you a replacement set free of charge without one of our promotional labels. How's that?
  6. Yes, that's the date DST gave us to expect delivery. The photos in the December 2007 issue of ToyFare (#124, page 22) seems to imply that all three sets shown don't come out until January 2008, but that doesn't apply to the BTTF.com exclusive 2-pack, which is still expected mid-November 2007.
  7. DST delayed shipment of BTTF.com's Exclusive 'Enchantment Under the Sea' 2-Pack by one month due to factory delays. It is now due to drop on November 15, according to what our reps told us 2 weeks ago. Our shipment of the Series 1 Boxed Set (4-Pack) is supposed to be enroute to us this week, and we should have them sometime next week. Since we are not on the West Coast (we are in Alabama - Southeast U.S.), we're still waiting for our shipment like all other vendors are on this end of the country. The Series 2 Boxed Set (4-Pack) and Previews Exclusive 2-Pack aren't due until late January 2008 at the earliest.
  8. The 4-Pack Boxed Set doesn't drop until October 17th -- still a few weeks away. (See DST's website for further info) The BTTF.com "Enchantment Under the Sea" Exclusive 2-Pack was recently delayed a month, and now drops November 15th, according to DST.
  9. We've been told what to expect as accessories, but we're waiting on the pictures just in case they change gears. Should be very, very soon.
  10. Yes, the BTTF Boxed Set arrives somewhere around October 20. However, it turns out that DST has delayed our exclusive ("Enchantment Under the Sea" 2-pack) by 1 month, and they will now be arriving somewhere around November 20.
  11. We couldn't agree more. In regards to the "Enchantment Under the Sea" BTTF.com Exclusive 2-pack, we expect to be able to report very good news soon in regards to accessories, along with photos of the packaging as well. Stay tuned...
  12. We are hoping he does, but as of this writing, DST has not confirmed to us one way or the other.
  13. While the paper DeLoreans are an inexpensive alternative to collectors on a really tight budget, most fans prefer diecast versions, such as this one (and they won't break your bank): Sunstar makes four different 1:18 scale versions of the car, while Welly USA makes 3 different 1:24 scale versions — both look fabulous with Minimates.
  14. The figures are Marty McFly & Doc Brown (in their 2015 costumes), Biff Tannen (from the casino in the Alternate 1985), and Marty McFly (in his spy costume from 1955).
  15. It is, and we jumped the gun by a month or so. DST won't be formally announcing it until sometime in July, but allowed us to move forward with our own grassroots campaign earlier. Glad to help out any way we can by answering questons about this promotion.
  16. Anything you need to know about Back to the Future™, you will find here: http://www.bttf.com/
  17. BTTF.com will indeed be the exclusive distributor of this item upon its availability in early October. The Universal Studios theme parks are getting out of the Back to the Future™ business. Universal Orlando closed Back to the Future™...The Ride back on March 30, and Universal Studios Hollywood is scheduled to close theirs after September 2. Very doubtful you're going to find anything from this series in the park of any caliber once their existing stock is depleted.
