So, I was among the nerds that waited at midnight on Friday to get the book, and I was most impressed. I have finished it, and I rank it amongst the best books of all time.

So in this spoiler wracked I want to know; Did anyone get it at 12:01 and what did you think

Ok, I scored a concept Camaro Bumblebee today, and tomorrow, he's going back to the store.

I CANNOT transform him correctly, I think his front end is broken now. If any of you people out there want him, i found him at Walmart, but as for me, I'll just get one of the voyagers.

Any Recommendations other than Prime, Megatron and Blackout? The first two don't seem to exist in Georgia, and I have the third.

Anything involving Black Manta is fine with me.

POWERHOUSE VENOM: Is a great improvement over the original version in series 2 of Marvel MMs. The big chest piece adds to the character's massive size, but the effect would have been pulled of better with a 2.5" body (we all know DST's reason for that injustice, so I'll let it be). The face is fresh and new, but it in no way makes me think of McFarlane's Venom from the "Torment" story line. A great second Venom, but could still be better. 7.5 / 10

Ummmm... Venom was never in "Torment." that Story was all Lizard and Calypso. (Excellent story by the way, I have all five issues. Most people don't like McFarlane's writing, but he kept the story simple, and backed it up with blasted GOOD ARTWORK!)

I remember seeing once in one of the Q & A's that DST said they don't plan to ever release an all villain wave, or even a two pack with only villains. The following will feature a question, followed by the same question as it appears in my head...

what about a wave with 3 heroes and 3 villains.... each pack being a villain/hero 2 pack.... theres always hope

This is exactly how I have always envisioned the "perfect" Minimate line! The "yin to the yan", if you will. DCD got off to a great start and Marvel occasionally throws us a bone, but somewhere along the line it seems to lose it's balance. Don't get me wrong, recognizable allies are always welcome (for example: Booster Gold/ Blue Beetle, Powerman/ Iron Fist, Joker/ Harley Quin, etc. worked very well), but honestly, who wouldn't have preferred say: Capt. America/ Red Skull(or even C.A./Falcon for that matter), IronMan/ TitaniumMan(or Mandarin, etc.), Wolverine/ Sabretooth, etc. than the pairings we received in the past? Variations of costumes (like: Spiderman, Wolverine, Batman, etc.)and fellow team-mates(allies) could then be utilized more effectively paired with a new villan (as many heroes have a large gallery of enemies). It just frustrates me to look at my collection of multiple Spiderman, Wolverine, Thing variations and wonder why I don't at least have a more fleshed-out Sinister Six, Brotherhood, etc. (Honestly, how many Venom variations were neccessary?). It's for this very reason that I tend to harshly critique the Marvel line. Not for spite, ingratitude, etc. for what we receive, but rather passion for the plethora of characters (and more importantly, villans) that we do not receive after many trying-years of 'Mate collecting. Hopefully, DST realizes the error of their ways and re-evaluate their Marvel line (DCD may have "lit a fire under their a$$e$"!), or in the very least, play "catch-up" with some great specialty-market boxsets( Sinister Six, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, etc.)!

Can we flesh out the 616 Universe before we start reality hopping again? The fact that we have Spider-Man 2099, DoFP Wolverine, and darn near every surviving character from the Zombieverse, not to mention three separate movie universes. With mum being the word on Iron Man, Hulk, and Fantastic Four movie licenses, here's hoping for several more strong 616 waves. We have a whole host of teams coming out of the Initiative, so do some of those. A few villain heavy waves wouldn't be bad either.

Alright, as anybody who saw Transformers knows, there is a secret film coming out on 1-18-08 and it has downtown New York being destroyed in the trailer. It looks really cool. I have been really annoyed as to what the heck this film is and I am opening a speculation thread n this secret film. On Wikipedia, it is known as "Cloverfield." Some places know it as 1-18-08. My two cents, I think it is Godzilla, but I seriously doubt it. All we know is that whatever caused that fireball is alive and it ripped off the the head of the Statue of Liberty.

Any thoughts?

LOL! Yes it is. You're right. My fault - I apologize.

(I was going to suggest all the black on the board = a Spidey mate & all the white = Wolverine. Double and triple rings would be individually assigned as needed to fill in waves... )

Actually I meant that as a joke to make fun of how we got so blasted many spider men and wolverines.

Main thing is read what you like - don't buy what you buy for the 'investment' - that's coming from a collector and former retailer.

Amen man. I personally love Thunderbolts. I even subscribed. It is possibly the best series yet. I mean a superhero team with all supervillains lead by the Green Goblin, that's almost as awesome as a ROBOT PIRATE NINJA (which is so awesome you need to put it in all caps).

Transformers is possibly the best movie of all time. I have to say though, I am a bit uneducated in TF lore. Before I saw this movie, the only Transformers I had ever seen were Beast Wars, so I was perfectly fine with firey Prime, and with Evil Cybertronian Jet Megatron, which was a point of much controversy with die hard fans that I talked to. Also, anyone played the game? I think the D.S. versions are the best, and the Autobots version is a lot easier than Decepticons, but Decepticons is a lot more satisfying. BEING EVIL RULES
