The only difference I can see is that the shades of blue are different, so the Invaders mask on the 4-pack body doesn't look right. I was afraid of that. I suppose I'll be getting an extra Invaders set then....

Are there any differences from the neck down between the Heroes set Captain America and the Invaders set Captain America? Would the modern mask from the Invaders set work with the four pack Cap's body. I'm on the fence about whether to get the Heroes set or the TRU 2-packs and an extra Invaders set, as I want extras of Doom, Magneto and Gobby.

If I were only interested in my own opinion I woudn't have included a poll. I'm interested in everyone's opinion on the matter... ...except your opinion, which really doesn't count because you lobbied to have Spidey included in every set, including Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica lines, thus ensuring their cancellation.... ;D What, the [sarcasm] tag is disabled on this board? ;P As far as Diamond's poll goes, I think it would have been better to let each person vote for four figures to be included, not just our top choice... and I hope Diamond repeats letting us make such choices in the future.

I, for one, do not want to see Spidey worm his way into the fan's choice Secret Wars set, so I decided to make a poll to see who else agrees...

Now if only there were a glitch to delete that pesky Spiderman from consideration for this set.... It's also going to be a travesty if the Beyonder doesn't make the set because of a split vote between the energy form and the normal form. If you add the totals together for these two Beyonder would be in the lead (even edging out the Captain's combined totals).

Have we established that the only difference between the Hulk/Abomination from TRU and the ones from the Hulk movie wave are that they are packaged together instead of with Banner and Blonsky?

Arrived today. My girlfriend got a Wizard World Bostom 2005 Blank (yellow figure). I got a Toyfair 2007 Starbuck.

You could always adapt an actual fish hook, though that might be a little bit too realistic (OUCH!)....

I'd buy a set, but I'm not picky on them being the same exact figures. I'd be happy for them to go with comic-book styling. It would be nice to see a re-release of Batman in his classic blue costume (with the yellow-background bat emblem).

I kind of find this attitude in fellow collectors reprehensible. You should buy something because you like the item or the character it represents, not so that you have bragging rights of "I have this and you don't, haw haw haw". Besides, it's not like the new release will be exactly the same, so you can still lord your Rare and Valuable Collectibles over others....

I'd really prefer Borg, Borg, Borg, Borg, Borg Queen and Locutus of Borg. Hmmm... maybe we could get a Borg army-builder set like the Classic and Modern Cylon sets. That would rock my unitard.

While I'm a lover of all things Mini, one thing I am not is a raging completist. I'm not interested in forking over the [excessive] cash for a Mini Jav just to get the Flash and MM. I do regret skipping the Flash mini-flier to pick the Javelin up at a brick and mortar (and which I never saw) but I did nab Nightwing, Batgirl, et al. I know that new, more affordable versions will come. I'm just slightly impatient.

This topic is pretty self-explanatory; surely DC Direct has noted the eBay prices for the C3 versions and know that people are chomping at the bit for them, so when do you think they'll show up in the DCD Minimate 2-pack line-up? I'm going to guess sometime around wave 8 or 9, assuming they continue to sell well. Your thoughts? Should we be pestering them for them?
