  1. i wont be going to SDCC,but i need help getting the terminator exclusive,so if anyone can help me out,ill give you the cash if you can help me,PLEASE PM ME!!!!

Clayface! you Live in San Diego ( or as near as damn it!!) I tihnk asking others to pick stuff up for you is probably pushing your luck!

    T.

Yeah, but attending SDCC costs money, so doesn't it make sense to have people who would be there anyone pick it up instead of paying to get in for one toy?

  2. I think for the most part newer is just better. here's a list of my "definitive versions".

Spider-Man: The heroes box-set one. I think the colors on it just make it really POP as the best. the original's suit being cast in the colors really bugs me.

Captain America: Invaders. while I don't own it, it's hard to deny that it looks the best, especially with the full chain mail.

Dr. Doom: The new is SOOOOOOOOO much better. I HATE the old one. HATE.

Ghost Rider: While I think the newer one is better, I think the Champions look FAR better than either of the ones we have.

    Green Goblin: New, period.

Hulk: Defenders for sure. The newest one looks like total crap, sorry DST.

Iron Man: There are honestly too many, I think it's a matter of preference. I think the newest or the modular looks the best.

Magneto: The new. Again with the GG and Doc. Doom, I don't like the old ones.

Venom: I think Powerhouse looks best.

Wolverine: After seeing it in pics, the new ones looks absolutely STUNNING. I am happy to say I am EXCITED that they are making a new Wolverine, as this looks to be the absolute definitive Wolverine by a mile.

  3. I'm a bit shocked that so many people seem to think $500 is too high. I mean, it's HIGH, thats for sure, but there are plenty of rare and expensive collectibles out there. Gold Spidey is a hell of a lot more than a run of the mill minimate. I think $500 for something that's known to be so extrordinarily rare and limited isn't too crazy. Heck, anyone who knows JLU knows the Hal Jordan figure went for a couple thousand, didn't it?

That all said, I wouldn't part with it for less than $500, period. I know you'll find someone willing to pay that much.

  5. I'm going to hit the unpopular train here and say I really kinda like those. They look pretty cool. A little ridiculous in the whole groin thing, but besides that I think they make for some cool looking toys. NOT $20, but if they're $10 that might be a little more palletable.

  6. The possible silver lining in all of this is that there's a chance Wave 27 might be released with a completely NEW Marvel wave... one with Black Bolt and Kang in it, perhaps?

That was what I was (badly) trying to suggest.

TBT! already said that according to his super cool insider info Wave 27 (the old 26) and 28 will be shown in ToyFare sometime soon.

  7. I already have Perceptor/Bombshell & Slag/Sharkticon, but I haven't even seen the rest of them...

I got those two and the BM pack the other day, but these guys have been a bitch to find in general. I'm gonna have to order all the ones I've missed.

  8. I don't want to skip BHM doing his job as MMMV's Christiane Amanpour ( :P ), and I don't want to ignore the debate either, and I also do think that the internet is real, since there are human beings outthere reading and writing these thoughts (no offence, TM2! I don't want to argue here!), but I'm not into this whole theater of war, so:

This movie is gonna do for Comedian's blood-splattered Smiley badge what V For Vendetta did for Guy Fawkes masks. Every kid from here to the Falklands is gonna have the damn thing on their backpack without recognizing it's from Watchmen. Paging Che Guevara! :P

    Count me in, NorthRaider!

    :geek:

Can you buy it anywhere yet? Cause I will, I'm a merchandise whore.

  9. So, my LCS has Sideshow's 1/6 scale Plo Koon for $75. I REALLY want to buy him, but I'm not sure if I want to pay that much. Can anyone with experience with the body he uses or the toy itself give me any advice or pros/cons? Also, if anyone would be willing to part with one for less (I know he originally retailed at around $55-$60) then let me know. Thanks!

EDIT: I'm repurposing this thread. I want to buy a really nice toy. Something that's expensive and standout, while still being affordable. I'm thinking in the range of $50-$100. I want something that's fairly big in size. and will get a nice response from people who see it. I've considered Sideshow's Plo Koon, the Cloverfield toy, Sideshow's Obi Wan in Clone Armor, and some others. Any advice?
