  2. I am a dad to four, almost five kids and I am currently a full time university student....I have minimates, and comics for that matter, worked into my monthly budget and my wife loves me very much and buys me little presents....and the rest I trade or sell toys and comics to get Jeff of the Minis
  3. So today my city celebrates St Nikolaus Tag/Day...good german heritage community we are.....and my wife and I decided last year to make this the day we put up our tree every year and all that....so on our way downtown to the festivities we stop at the post office and low and behold there is a odd shaped package for me from pickle....didnt get to open it for the majority of day....when I did I tore into it....inside was an odd shaped wrapped packed....after looking it over a bit I unwrapped it and nearly fainted at the awsomeness of it. He sent me the GI Joe 25th anniv Team Joe boxset!!! I just have gotten a few Joes for nostalgia sake but now that I got this it might push me over the edge lol....needless to say I am blown away!! THANK YOU MAN!!!! Jeff of the Minis
  4. Welcome! always nice to have another canadian around here....we are a small bunch lol Jeff of the Minis

  6. all these suncost exclusives make me worried because the stores are so sporadic....the exclusive dont show up on ebay with regularity or want high prices....oh well they are a good exercise in patience lol Jeff of the Minis

  9. This sounds interesting. Does anyone know if it is still in print or reletivly easy to find? I found it on the new release table at Barnes and Noble. Max Brooks wrote for SNL, authored "The Zombie Survival Guide", and is the son of Mel Brooks. Screenplay is being written by J. Michael Straczynski of Babylon 5 fame. Brad Pitt's production company Plan B will produce. The book was highly recommended by three store clerks who saw me carrying the book through the store. Finally, I'll add that if you enjoy history and politics, you will probably enjoy this book. Plot Outline from IMDb: "Ten years after the human victory over the world wide Zombie epidemic, referred to as World War Z, Max Brooks scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived the conflict that almost eradicated humanity." OK...sold!! I am gonna go find this book as soon as I can! Jeff of the Minis
  10. I have given this tons of thought especially given my life situation...I am a dad of 4 about to be 5 as well as husband and full time student so my super power definatly would have to be Multiple Mans...the ability to create extras of my self would sure be handy in my life...especially when it comes down to stuff like taking care of my very pregnant wife and sick children and still make it to class lol....but seriusly who wouldnt love to be able to do that....need a hand moving stuff youve always got as much help as you need....although I could do without the current quirks his power has lol...I know it is not as flashy as flight or strength or speed but it is definatly the most practical in my life! Jeff of the Minis
  11. This sounds interesting. Does anyone know if it is still in print or reletivly easy to find? I have the hugest urge for something new and this sounds like it might fit what I am looking for in contrast to all my Canlit books I'll be reading over the break! On a reply about Eragon, Eldest and the whole Inheirintence run...I didnt know he bumped it up from a trilogy....that could be interesting or be pushing the story line a bit much. I found that while he did kill off interesting characters adn the main character is not the typical strong lead I still find the stories to be well written and very interesting....I havent found a book yet that doesnt get a little flat in the middle....unless it was 'God: The Ultimate Autobiography'....if you like a seriously funny poke at God then check that one out! Jeff of the Minis
  12. The bools of the Pern series are wonderfully descriptive. I read these when I was younger and was like a rabid dog buying up all the books....and there are alot of them!! If you like dragons without all the typical fantasy swords and armor stories the books set on Pern will be a hit for sure!! as for myself I am an insane reader too...always reading...unfortunatly my CanLit class in school has me busy reading books for that class that I barely even have the time to read comics nevermind pour myself into a book....I am a pretty open reader, wiling to go with my gut and try new things and seldom am I disapointed...I am currently waiting patiently for the 3rd book in the Inheiretence trilogy...Eragon and Eldest were awsome books...if you liked the movie the book is ten time better and Eldest is even better then that Jeff of the Minis
  13. *drool* thanks Cappy!!! I have been dying to see these guys since I heard they came out...cant say that I am disappointed!! they look great...I really wasnt sure I was going to go for the non-comics mates but so far the non-comic ones are really getting me more hooked! if thats possible lol Jeff of the Minis

I would seriously buy army builder packs....especially a Madrox one....just drooling at the idea of him in his 90's costume, and one with a trenchcoat...or you could have a modern set of his current look, again one trenchcoated, his agent of shield and best one, agent of hydra...I wold gladly buy multiples of multiple man! Jeff of the Minis
  19. I will have to toss my hat in with a second of Transmetropolitan....a great and sadly missed book...the entire run is available in trade format so it is easy to get....and as long as I am recomending stuff I definatly think anyone should try out Starman by James Robinson and Tony Harris...still my all time fav series, again sadly missed....but I am overjoyed at the announcment of the upcoming hardcover complete collecting of this book.....I have all the issues and trades but they missed stuff in the trades and now have comitted to collecting EVERYTHING in the hardcover collections! best description I can give is that Jacks just a regular guy getting to play superhero...I am sure there are others here who can agree with this books awsomeness! sorry to ramble o I just think it is awsome that they are doing the collection of this book properly...and right when I was planning on pulling the books out for my annual read of it Jeff of the Minis
