  1. Someone on Instagram said the only ones they have on display at the booth are the Maximum Venom ones.
  2. Nice that the package covers the franchise as a whole. Personally, would love to have more figures based on the films, but am actually happy with what we're getting.
  3. By the time these come out John Wick IV will be out on Blu-ray and the Common mate will be way outdated.
  4. The rifle with the bayonet was used in the 3.75" Indiana Jones line. It came with the Russian soldier.
  5. Yeah when I was at the shop last week he looked it up and it was on the "being released next week" list. When we looked today they didn't have it listed even for next week. Fingers crossed it isn't cancelled.
  6. I was just told by my LCS that these are on the shipping list for next week. Really looking forward to getting these in my hands.
  7. Thanks, Zach. I'm really looking forward to these.
  8. Anyone know if this wave got cancelled or pushed back? Noticed it wasn't listed on the most recent estimated release dates list. This and the Bruce Lee wave were the only waves I was really looking forward to and one is already cancelled.
  9. I'm actually part of a group that rotates in the old Marvel RPG from the 80s and we use minimates in our game, but I wasn't really talking about for RPG purposes. I was coming from the point it's a license that is known thanks to a cartoon, movies, a current tv commercial and longevity of a game with both visually appealing and deep line of characters that could likely be more than a four figure boxset. Fantasy figures do have a strong fanbase, MOTU, Mythic Legions, Vutruvian H.A.C.K.S do fairly well. it might seem to be a niche market to people that only collect comic or movie lines but it's there. Most of the people I know that play RPGs do collect figures outside of the ones used for games, myself included. It was just a thought.
  10. Yeah, they made a handful of Pathfinder characters, as well as Dragon's Age minimates a couple years ago. They were great figures but I think a lot of people passed on them because Pathfinder isn't as widely known as Dungeons and Dragons outside of people who actively play.
  11. Sorry, really more of a lurker than poster but this discussion has caught my attention. I saw people mention getting a type of license and mention brands that have been recently licensed or are currently on shelves from other companies. (would punch a clown for Indy mates) I wonder how many of the brands we wish would be approached or release as minimates by DST are tied up by companies like Mega-Construx, Super7, McFarlane Hasbro, Lego, etc... Also, with card and roleplaying games going through sort of a Renaisance could a license like Warhammer or Magic the Gathering be a viable option? Maybe Elder Scrolls or Dungeons and Dragons even? All have plenty of colorful characters and option for people to switch parts and make their own characters. I know DST had some experience with Pathfinder and Dragon's Age. I don't know how well those did, but I know I personally own cases of them and would love Dungeons and Dragons mates based off the game or cartoon. That being said I don't believe the end is anywhere close. I just believe we're in another low spot like when the LoTR and DC lines ended.
  12. Hi and thank you for allowing me to join your community. I found the Minimate Multiverse via the net while working on a custom for a friend. There are a lot of talented people here so again thank you for letting me be a part of it.
