Totalus_Kat Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 For those of you who don't know how this works, and even those who do, this is how we shall play: 1) the names of two actors will be provided to you. The aim of the game is to link these two actors via other actors through films they have both starred in, in six stages or less Example: Ewan McGregor - Emma Thompson Example: Ewan McGregor - Down With Love - Renee Zellweger Renee Zellweger - Bridget Jones' Diary - Hugh Grant Hugh Grant - Love Actually - Emma Thompson 2)If the link checks out, that person then provides the next two actors to link together. Rules/Notes: a) IMDB and similar are only to be used to find out the identity of one of the given actors if you don't know of them, or to check out the validity of the final chain. THAT'S IT! Sitcoms like Friends may be used, but ONLY if that person had a recurring role. No guest star cameos (e.g. Minnie Driver being in "Will and Grace" would work, because she was in a good few episodes, but Kevin Bacon only appeared once, so he doesn't count). Furthermore, the use of such a sitcom twice in a row on the same chain is not permitted (e.g: Elle McPhearson - Friends - Matt LeBlanc, Matt LeBlanc - Friends - Bonnie Somerville [Mona]) c) It shouldn't be to hard to link two actors in six stages, but having said that, If you are choosing the next two people, have a bit of compassion. Try not to make something thats impossible. Conversely, it's no fun if everytime, it turns out that "the two" are in the same picture together anyway. So try to have at least a bit of a think about who you're setting. d) I know that there's no way of enforcing any of this, but play fair. It's only yourselves that you're cheating.
