Here is my first team. I call them the Saturn Supreme. The Saturn Supreme team was created by Dr. Sam Tarnish for the sole purpose of tracking down super-powered criminals who escaped the federal prison in Leavenworth, Kansas during the Great Break of 2007. The FBI granted Tarnish's team temporary Federal Marshal status, and Baron Burn was given the leadership position of the field team. The first mission took a tragic turn, however, when Dr. Tarnish disappeared immediately following the apprehension of the first criminal. The team has since struggled with cohesion, and several criminals escaped during the second mission. The question remains, can Baron Burn keep his team together and find the remaining criminals? And what happened to Dr. Tarnish? Baron Burn Baron Burn is a sentinet robotic being. He was built by a team of Japanese, Chinese, and South Korean scientists working with Dr. Tarnish. Baron Burn has immense processing power, and can be "modded" with new skills and talents on the fly. Anything from foreign languages to surgical abilities can be downloaded into Baron Burn's brain with the help of O for Operator. Superpowers: Baron Burn can manipulate combustable atoms on the molecular level. This allows him to create: Flameballs which can be thrown at people, Inferno which can create walls of flame, Scorched Earth which can create a massive explosion of fire affecting an area around himself the size of a football field, and Fire Breath which can create a flash flame in front of a person’s face. The fire burns out all of the oxygen causing the victim to pass out. Other: Baron Burn struggles with understanding the nuances of human relationships. People act too random and irrational for his tastes. Yet he remains committed to completing the team's missions. He just wishes Dr. Tarnish were around to handle the personality conflicts among team members. Sugar and Spice Sugar and Spice are clones created by the Isreali Defense Forces. They were genetically modified prior to birth to develop super-powers. Now at the age of eighteen, they have begun intensive military training to hone their powers. As part of their military training, they have been "loaned" to the United States to assist law enforcement with catching super-powered criminals. Sugar's Superpowers: Flight. Male Mind Control. Sugar can telepathically control the mind of a single man for a few hours. The power is useless on women, animals, and robots. Spice's Superpowers: Flight. Krav Maga Combat Mastery. She has excellent hand-to-hand, knife, and pistol fighting skills. Cybernetic arm. Spice lost her right arm as a child during a terrorist attach. It has since been replaced by numerous robotic arms. The most recent arm was developed and built by Dr. Tarnish. Other: Sugar and Spice have very different personalities. As you could probably guess, Sugar is sweet and nice. Spice tends to be fiesty and combatative. Neither gets along with Wolf Hunter very well. Wolf Hunter Wolf Hunter is the product of rogue genetic experimentation done on prisoners in China. Originally from Cambodia, Wolf Hunter was captured by corrupt Chinese officials while serving aboard a pirate ship in the South China Sea. The experiments transformed him into a man with wolf characteristics. Wolf Hunter's Superpowers: Wolf Hunter has numerous animalistic powers, which include: Lick Wounds which heals any injury using saliva, Emotional Reading which can smell fear, lying, etc from opponents, Enhanced strength, Battle savagery which allows him to enter into an animalistic battle rage, Master tracking/hunting. He can hunt any living thing on the planet. Other: Wolf Hunter has significant anti-social behaviors. He is not well liked by the team, but his hunting/tracking skills make him indispensable. He prefers to be alone, and that suits his teammates just fine. Wolf Hunter carries a silver plated rifle which is often loaded with incapacitating "knock-out" darts. Crack Up Crack Up is an alien being who arrived on earth several years ago. He seems unable to remember his past, but it doesn't seem to bother him much. He was brought to Dr. Tarnish by the authorities who couldn't decide what to do with him. Dr. Tarnish put him to work in his lab, and got him resident alien status. Crack Up's Superpowers: Crack Up can hypnotize people into a state of uncontrollable laughter. He does this by telling very bad jokes, although it is believed the jokes are unneccessary in inducing this state of laughter. Other: Crack Up is very hyperactive. He talks alot and seems to need a lot of attention. Wolf Hunter and Spice in particular find him extraordinarily annoying. Blackhole Blackhole was a theoretical physisist at Stanford University who developed super-powers after an accident with the Sub-Partical Super Collider. Blackhole was transformed into a being that absorbed all light. Blackhole's Superpowers: Blackhole can bend time and space, which allows the following - Limited Group Teleportation which allows him to teleport the Saturn Supreme team to anyplace on the planet. Uncontrollable time and dimension travel which allows him to randomly teleport people into other times and dimensions, Time Bombs which can be thrown. These mini-blackholes “stop time" making the person immobile for a short duration. Other: Blackhole is extraordinarily arrogant and haughty when it comes to intellectual matters. Some believe he compensates for his lack of social skills with a superiority complex. He has difficulty dealing with women in particular and has never had a girlfriend or even gone on a date. His prospects of meeting a girl further dimmed after becoming a living black hole. O for Operator O serves as second in command for Saturn Supreme. She works closely with Baron Burn, and she considers him a good friend. She feels that Baron Burn, although a robot, is the only person who "gets" her. O's Superpowers: O lacks any real combat powers, but she can hack any electronic system on the planet. She is an expert with electronic gadgets, and consequently serves as the communications specialist for the team. When the team needs information, they turn to O. Other: O harbors some jealousy towards Sugar. O feels Sugar frequently flirts with Baron Burn, and O dislikes Sugar's power over men. O speculates that Sugar's interest stems from the fact that Baron Burn is immune to her powers. Can she win his heart without her powers? On a side note about in scale accessories. I recently came across this Buffy accessory pack The item I've circled is a Pez dispenser that looks to be almost in scale with 'mates. I wasn't planning on adding Saturn Supreme to the JP1000 World, but who knows. Blackhole can move people through dimensions ... I also had the silly thought of having Saturn Supreme take on other Franken mates created on this board. This could make for some silly and fun pictures if a lot of people participate. Mmmm....back pain reliever..... good times. I really dig Crackup. Where did you get an in scale rubber chicken? I saw it on the check-out counter of a toy store. They had a little bowl of these guys for $0.50 each. I only got one and I haven't seen more since. He's been sitting in my parts box for a long time now. I finally felt inspired to use him! I was gonna use one of the Alternators, since they're the perfect scale for the 'Mates. I had a hero, femme fatale, bad guy, hitmen...didn't write it down, and forgot it all. So, I took them apart. Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 OK folks here we go I pulled the first 6 of my "villains" for pix and bios. bTW these aren't really a team just random folks and these bios are to be taken with a slight tongue in cheek SpeedDemon and Hellfire. Speed Demon is a 'speedster' but has the quirk that although seeming to be able to move very fast his powers are actually that of slowing time around him down. This explains how he is in his early 20's but has aged to rough 40yrs old. As well as the speedster powers SD likes to wear a 'utility belt' full of small explosive devices and weapons with very short fuse times, using these at high speed to great advantage. Hellfire is an ex-nun who was nearly killed in the fire at her nunnery during which her latent powers manifested themselves. She believes she survived to preach that everyone should make confession and pennace, She believes everyone has something to confess/repent so is as equally a problem to heroes and villains alike. She deals out redemption with her 'sword of truth', fire based flight powers and unholy strength. She also an expert martial artist, It's not know commonly known but nuns have a secret code of martial arts that rival those of monks and she often uses these to lethal effect ( beleiving they will get what they have earned in heaven/hell). Inkling and Mr Grimace Inkling gained his powers during an accident at the local ink factory where he works, he was trying to find the perfect 'invisible ink' when the machine he was using to mix compounds exploded covering him with the solution. Inkling is now never completly solid, he fades in and out of existance on a pulsing cycle every few hours. Inkling is able to show a moderate level of control over his 'power' but can never totally dissapear for fear that he would simple not exist enough to bring himself back. He now sells his services as a thief and a spy as he's very diffiult to detect either by human eye or machine. Mr Grimace is simply a psychopath in spandex suit who believes that while in a drug induced stupor he made a deal with the devil to return his severed hand to him ( The Hand was surgically removed after a car accident), the deal was that he needs to remove an undisclosed number of limbs from people and the devil will restore his hand. Sadly there is no Devil and no deal and the ongoing quest drives him further into insanity. Mr Grimace has no powers but believes himself invincible and unstopable to the point of self harm. He gets his name from telling people to "grin and bear it, it could be worse I could want your heart..." as re removes limbs, sadly after he removes limbs he doesn't care about the fates of his victims more often than not leaving them to die. Relic and Belladonna Relic is an archologist but instead of turning his finds over to museums and goverments now sells to the highest bidders no matter what he sees the use or outcome of doing so may cause, this selfish turn has dragged him further into the underworld where he is now more than willing to kill and cheat just to get the job done. He's an expert shot with his beloved six guns, an olympic class acrobat and loves a good game of scrabble. Belladonna is an enigma, very little is known about her. She is often seen either in conflict or occasionally teamed with 'Esrev of Itlum' a grey skinned barbarian from a different dimension, it it assumed that they came from the same dimension but no one has managed to get an answer from either of them. She is known to have unspecified arcane powers and the ability to talk people to their own death but as I stated beyond that she is an enigma.
