  1. A couple shots of my collection (hope this works...) I think I'm closing in on 400? Needless to say Minis are the only toy I collect other than cars, motorcycles, hmm...
  2. I just finished this article from Yahoo news a couple easter eggs of Captain America from iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. 2011 though? Argh! http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/captainamerica_blog.html
  3. What about The Dailey Planet wher Calrk Kent "works", or the Dailey Bugle for Peter Parker, Aunt May's house, the Fortress of Solitude for Supes? Stuff like that?
  4. Is there a checklist for convention and giveaway exclusives? I don't mean blanks but other like the spidey elf, cylon elf, 07' Hunt, starbuck, etc. Trying to keep track of what I'm missing and with over 500 mates including blanks etc getting a bit overwelming. Thanks for your help, sorry if I've missed something!
  5. I will humbly offer to watch over your mates while you wait out the storm. Just send them to... Be safe man
  6. I think Jewel is a more current or "newer" charecter thus considered more pertinent. I read most of my comics in the 80's and 90's so am very familier with Mockingbird, plus didn't she have a long running tryst with Ollie North (Green Arrow)? I've never read anything with Jewel or if I did it didn't leave much of an impression. My two cents...
  7. I saw the singles at stuckakid and battlestaronline.com too. Problem is that the Sixes are the hardest to get - everone is sold out of 'em and the dead one sells for a premium. I ordered them from youbuynow - they showed up yesterday. Good Luck When did you order them from youbuynow? I ordered them as singles from the same site and haven't heard a thing...
  8. I bought the 80 gig model, mainly because I wanted Metal Gear Solid and it was included. And I understand the 80 gig model is somewhat backward compatible, never know when you might want to pick up some cheap PS2 games to broaden you library. BTW the DVD portion is OUTSTANDING! I had a high def dvd as well as a high end regular DVD and the picture was phenom! Good luck and tell us whet you get!
  9. There's a ton of e-tailers that sell these and have banners here on this site. Personally I've used Stuckakid, Corner Store Comics, Action Figure Express, Sci-Fi Genre. I ordered one of each of the case cylons as well as the two six's from You Buy Now. Hope that helps. Down with Ebay!
  10. Ok I'm a little confused. What's the difference between the "case" Razor mates and the "carded" mates? Is it the same mix? Are there mates in the case not on the card? Sorry might be having a senior moment just confused. Thanks for the help!
  11. Man I gave up on comics when they reached, what, $25.00 a piece?! Seriously I was an avid reader in the 80's and 90's and still have over 10,000 in back issues. Recently I've been re-reading the McFarlane Amazing Spider-Man issues, Iron Man 150'ish, early new X-Men (Liefeld) stuff...
  12. Die Hard has to be my favorite movie of all time. I managed to piece together a full set of the Palz on Ebay. Haven't looked in a while but seem to remember there being a lot of them on there, as well as the blind box auctions.
  13. Weren't the Civil War mates a NY Con exclusive also by AFX? And aren't they still selling them on thier website? While I would love to be the first on the block to have these I can't imagine they won't be available on AFX website at some point. Patience young Jedis.......
  14. Soooooo hope it isn't looked upon as reviving a dead thread but didn't see a reason to start a new one. Anyone planning on going to ECCC this year? The dates are May 10th and 11th. I'm new to the PCNW and thinking of dropping by!
  15. I got one from Webhead after adding it to my wants have list for about 11 bucks including shipping.
  16. OK that was freakin awesome! IM has always been my favorite comic hero (I have like issue 1 through current up till 2000- something). Can't wait to see the movie. Thanks for the link!
  17. Not sure if you're still looking for this ... http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-Minimates-Wave-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  18. I checked the 108 case on Carney Plastics and noticed there isn't any deviders between the cars so if you turn it sideways it looks like they would all fall to the bottom. How did you use these? Do you have any pictures?
  19. Hmm did I notice a GOLD Spidey? Where did you say you live again? So are these considered 1/64 scale? I am definitely going to try this. Where did you get yours from? Nice collection btw!
  20. I couldn't find another "display" thread so I guess I'll ask here. I've been checking out Hot Wheels display cases as I think they might fit at least the 2 inchers. Most notably the ones from the following two reatilers. Has anyone tried this? http://clearwaterdisplays.com/shop/product...12ee62d38409e03 http://commerce.idmi.net/ecommerce/catalog...03&PI=11239 Thanks for the feedback!
  21. How? Was there a sale? Pricing mistake Lucky. So how's the set? Is it as good as the other Indy sets or is it the one to skip? Actually I've never been a huge "playset" fan, so both the Raiders Ark tomb and Jungle set held little interest for me. I was surprised by how many pure old school pieces Lego has been dragging out of storage for this set. Off the top of my head, there's the horse and saddle, the treasure chest, and several Cavalry pieces. The truck is VERY nice, with a canvas back that easily comes off, but can be secured so it doesn't move at all. It's a nice robust 6 wheeled monster. There IS a place to Indy can climb under the trust (you have to remove his hat), 2 of the grill bars "pop" off, and there's a catch at the back to place his whip so you can drag him along behind. BTW, his whip is rubber in case any one was wondering. It's molded into the curved shape but can bend to extend. That was driving me nuts before. The car is also a really nice piece, with a driver and a place for a machine gun at the back. Fortunately they include just a few extra pieced that I tacked on to make the gun more machine gun like. There's also a spare tire on the back of the car. Over all, a nice well rounded set. Legos have always been over priced IMHO, but if you can catch this under the $30 mark, by all means go for it. Even if it's just $25. $30 is, eh, up to you. I'm sure if I had a job still I wouldn't even blink, but as it is that's like 4 months worth of raman noodles. Which I've been eating. For breakfast, lunch and dinner. Haven't posted in a while, probably doing this wrong but definitely felt your pain about the ramen, maybe this will help... http://www.mattfischer.com/ramen/
  22. And at 182 pounds, that's only like 2.19£ a pound! Such a deal!!!
  23. Happy birthday Multiverse. Ady thank you for all your hard work!
  24. As far ast Starbuck being alive they did make a Minimate of her... Hmm. Actually I read or heard somewhere (sorry really no idea where, maybe extras on DVD interviewing with the actors) that they were going to do something with the story line from the classic series Episode 20 "Experiment in Terra". Could Starbucks reappearance be along the same idea? http://www.battlestargalactica.com/classicguide.htm
  25. So I've seen pics and seen several of the Starbuck exclusive but none of the Baltar exclusive mate. What gives?
