I got mine off Ebay and if I remember correctly, I paid $42 for it after shipping. I got lucky on the symbiote Spider-man and found him for $10.

I started late, too. But like others have said, I bought a huge collection and then started looking to fill the holes. My collection isn't complete, but its doing nicely.
