My comic store got in series 35 today (Jim Lee X-Men). But what happened to series 33?

Wow, I never noticed uuntil no that Wow, I never noticed until now that Zombie Spidey, Hulk and Power Man even had special hands. Wow, MiniMates are cool! (And, uh , sorry to hear about the problem.) -Greg

I went with Angel, but I can't wait for the whole Champions set! Angel at least completes a (sort of) original X-Men group (if we count Phoenix instead of Marvel Girl). But Hercules and Black Widow give me more Avengers, and Ghost Rider fits in with a nice 70's collection (with Powerman and Iron Fist, Iron Man with a nose and the Defenders). They're all good, needed and important! Can't wait...!

It just occured to me, but an Ultimate Fantastic Four would be cool! Those updated costumes, younger prettier Sue. We already have some Ultimate X-Men and Spider-Man (lame) and the Ultimatges are coming, so they'd fit right in, and there wouldn't really need any new sculpted parts (surely Sue's hair could be swiped from somebody else!).

X-Men #1. However, this would have to have 5 figures. Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel and the Beast, all in yellow & black outfits, and a lumpy Iceman! Otherwise, I agree with a lot of other suggestions. Alpha Flight (Vindicator/Guardian, Sasquach, Snowbird, Shaman... then put out a Northstar/Aurora two-pack!), Marvel Monsters and Young Avengers would be my choices. I almost feel there's a good chance for an Alpha Flight set seeing we're actually getting the Champoions! -Greg

Over night? I find that the freezer trick will work in about 20 minutes. Well, at least it did for my sticky Iron Mans and Viper helmets. I, however, can't seem to get my Invaders Human Torch's hand-fire-balls off (Sorry, if I've veered off topic here!) -Greg

I went to the Snail Wednesday as well, to find nothing. I guess I'll check my crappy store here in Hamilton. Same thing happened with the Heroes and Villains set last month- Snail didn't get them but my crappy store did get them. (My local crappy store won't hold MiniMates for me any more. I asked them to hold Marvel, DC, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek MiniMates for me. But because I didn't buy all the Spider-Man 3 or Hulk movie sets, they're "punishing" me by not holding MimiMates for me anymore... which means I don't get the varients anymore. And it's not like I special ordered them and didn't buy them - then I could understand why they'd be annoyed - but I said "if you get them in, hold them for me... like you do with my comics!" Anywayze, they suck.)

best: Defenders Hulk... but I have to look at the Heroes one again. worst: Gamma clear green Hulk, with the original skinny hulk a close second worst (I like him, but sorry, he's weak in comparison). And I just don't count Professor Hulk because (as a character) he's TOO LAME to ACKNOLEDGE! favorite: Defenders or Avengers #1. Okay, Defenders if I have to decide. -Greg p.s. People are pretty much on target with Doc Ock and Juggernaut. I'd love a Hulk in the bigger sized figure, but we kow that won' thappen. The New Avengers Luke Cage is also a must. Maybe a Wolverine in his new Astonishing X-Men/New Avengers outfit WITH a mask (although the 1st appeanance/Secret Invasion Wolverine's mask does the job okay).

Yep, that's when I stopped pulling! Even happened after my freezer experement. I'll try the hot water next. -Greg

I'd go with freezing it seems less damaging overall. T. I would have said freezing was the best bet, as it works prefect for getting "masks" off of heads (like Iron Man's). I just tried it, and I can't say that it made the wings any easier to get off. I still haven't gotten them off. I think the solution, which I think I'm going to do right now, is to buy another Wasp off eBay! -Greg

X-Men #1 boxed set - with 5 figures, in black & yellow costumes 1st Appearance Fantastic Four - Lumpy Thing, super flamesy Human Torch. Alpha Flight boxed set - Probably will never happen, but at least a Vindicator figure? Sasquach? Ultimates boxed set - Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk/Nick Fury/Wasp Single Figures: Captain Britain, Union Jack, modern Wasp, Black Widow, Vulture, Banshee, Black Panther

I love this set! I've been eagerly awaing this set since its announcment. Now we just need an X-Men #1 set, with the yellow and black costumes! I'm dissapointed that my masked Wasp's face printing is off registered, so it lloks like she's looking to one side. My store ony got one set in (for me), so I can't exchange it. Maybe I can contact Art Asylum. My big question, though, I why did we get an extra set of naked arms? For Iron Man? But they're pacakged next to Giant Man, aren't they? I'm confused! -Greg

I don't have too many wants at the moment, because I've been really happy with a lot fo the offerings in the past year (Thor, Hawkeye, Vision, Scarelt Witch, Defenders set, Invaders set, Iron Man set-- can't wait fo rthe Avenger #1 set. All made me very happy!). But there are a couple "holes" missing int he collection. An Orignal X-Men boxed set: Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Angel, Marvel Girl. In either original black & yelllow outfit, or in thier individual later outfits (which would make them go good with Havok and Polaris). A the moment, I'd prefer the original outfits. Young Avengers boxed set: Patriot, Wiccan/Asguardian, Hulkling, Iron Lad, Hawkeye Ultmates: Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Wasp, Hulk. Five seems to be the "magic number" for boxed sets, but Nick Fury would be cool in this, too. As far as individual figures, not too much I'd really like at the moment. I've tried the freezer over and ever, and it works everytime! But WHY does it work, and will it damage the figure's joints in the long run (I guess I could just put the head in)? Now... the next problem is how do I get the big fire balls off the Invaders Human Torch hands? I pull them off and it takes the hands off with it every time!
