  1. I'm unable to embed video here, but we have an interview with Matt Peck from DST at Toy Fair '09 regarding their newly unveild DeLorean Time Machines and what the future may hold for their BTTF Minimate line. Click on the photo below to be taken to the page where you can view the video...
  2. Here's the list of suggestions we forwarded to DST about a month or so before "Wave 3" was even announced: 4-Packs: BTTF3 "Wave 3" 4-Pack Boxed Set with "Western Marty McFly", "Western Doc Brown" with high-powered riffle, Buford 'Mad Dog' Tannen, and Clara Clayton with telescope. BTTF1 "Wave 4" 4-Pack Boxed Set with "Radiation Suit Marty McFly" with video camera, "Radiation Suit Doc Brown" with plutonium case, Mr. Strickland and Jennifer Parker. BTTF2 "Wave 5" 4-Pack Boxed Set including Griff, Data, Whitey & Spike, all with their corresponding hoverboards. BTTF3 "Wave 6" 4-Pack Boxed Set with "Clint Eastwood Marty McFly" with boots, "1955 Doc Brown" with pistol, Seamus McFly, and Maggie McFly with baby William McFly. BTTF2 "Wave 7" 4-Pack Boxed Set including "2015 Marty McFly" with fired fax or blue guitar, Marty McFly Jr., Marlene McFly with headphone set, and Lorraine McFly with hydrated pizza. 2-Packs: BTTF1 "Battle of the Bands" Exclusive 2-Pack including Marty McFly with guitar and "Huey Lewis" (teacher) with megaphone. BTTF: The Ride "Institute of Future Technology" Exclusive 2-Pack including "Labcoat Doc Brown" with remote control and "1955 Biff Tannen" with wrench. Obviously, there are plenty of other combinations of other characters, but we felt that these were probably among the top choices which would make sense at a commercial level. Had "Clara Clayton" been included in 'Wave 3', we would have had that set nailed dead-on!
  3. According to the Previews listing, he's called "unsuspecting Marty McFly." Don't know yet if that's the name they're sticking with.
  4. Here's a link to a couple of previously non-published photos of this set: http://www.bttf.net/PhotoDetails.asp?ShowD...tCode=JAN084466
  5. Our shipment arrives today.... http://www.bttf.net/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SEP074516
  6. We're already discussing possibilities internally and with DST, but we've got to move a bunch more of the existing 2-pack first before we can even begin seriously thinking about doing another one. Stay tuned though, I'm sure it'll happen eventually... Yeah, when you put it that way, BTTF.com's exclusive doesn't "count" as a Previews exclusive. Guess I was reading too much into your statement. Still, I don't think DST intends to balance out their packs like that. It's my understanding & impression from our early talks with DST that PX happen only as a resort of when there's not a vendor already lined up to distribute them exclusively. If we could afford to exclusively distribute all 2-packs instead of Previews, we'd certainly do so. But the investment costs are staggering.
  7. We're in the U.S., but we ship to the U.K. daily... http://www.bttf.com/store/
  8. What do you mean that it doesn't "count"? I don't follow your logic, since Previews isn't the only "vendor" who carries exclusives. Would you say that it didn't "count" had ShopAFX.com picked up a BTTF exclusive to distribute instead of BTTF.com?
  9. After the first two sets included accessories, we're a little disappointed that there are none included with this set. DST gave us a choice of the two 2-pack sets when signing up to be their exclusive distributor of whichever one we chose, and this one just didn't make sense for us to invest in as a BTTF.com exclusive. I'm confident that we made the right choice and am certainly glad that we chose the "Enchantment Under the Sea" set over this one, but I'm glad that it's still available as a Previews Exclusive so that we could still stock it in our catalog.
  10. Yep, our shipment just arrived by UPS. They're a great addition to the growing line of BTTF Minimates!
  11. No, I was aware of it the moment our pallet arrived on December 27 and I took the first one out of the carton for review before we began shipping them that day.
  12. I've not asked DST about this myself, but we suspect that it was a printing error at the factory. BTTF.com was the exclusive distributor of this product LONG before the packages were even printed up. We signed up pretty much from Day 1, so why the Previews Exclusive logo was printed on the card originally makes no sense other than it seems that someone wasn't paying attention to the work order at the factory. Oh well....
  13. I'm not privy to why DST changed the actual product from the original prototype. Regardless, I'd say that the final version is still a pretty good likeness of the real-deal...
  14. Thanks! Glad that there are true BTTF fans who can appreciate that photo almost as much as I do... We appreciate the very positive feedback you left on our site about the set. So far, the exclusive has been a positive experience for us ever since it finally arrived last week, so hopefully these will sell very swiftly for us and we'll be able to take advantage of doing another exclusive with DST if the opportunity presents itself. Stephen (who recently was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter)
  15. From our site -- we ship daily, Monday - Friday. You won't have to wait for an auction to close like you would for eBay if you order direct from the site. You'll get it much quicker, and we don't have to pay those pesky eBay listing & seller's fees either! Thanks!
