I have no interest in the Spidey sets, but that Odinson/Collector pack looks great. I hope I'll be able to track one down.
If I find these I'll get you that Odinson set. I have that Hulk if you still need it.

Metroid
some long running games with current versions out now or pending
I'd be all in on any of these.

This is basically all I wanted. POTC would have been great and Jack would have been the perfect anchor with different accessories and faces for each set he had to hold down.

@Mirymate tell me about it. Not even my LCS wants comic fans for workers. Most of them know nothing of Marvel or TWD.
Back on Topic - "Broken" Large sentinel "stands" for a new X-Wave.
Or a giant "Dead" Bill Foster Goliath "stand" for Ragnarok in celebration of Thor Ragnarok and Bill Foster's upcoming appearance in Antman

I'd buy two, just because.
DST doesn't want you to buy 2.

Thanks for the reply @luke314pi I love the sculpts and that Homecoming spidey is crazy good but I'm not sure i'd wanna shell out $300 for something I'd constantly fear breaking when I have him out.

@MisterPL i don't mind the price too much as long as it has what I'm looking for.
With TRU set to have some closings and me living in a small town minimate exclusives will probably become more expensive for me to pick up anyway so I'm thinking about just picking up legends.
I want to stick to mates since they're what really got me collecting but its become kinda stressful to collect them.
-
And to clarify @buttheadsmate I don't want to give up Mates completely but I'm starting to get collector's fatigue Right now and want to pick something else up.

How do hot toys handle wear and tear? I like to play with my toys and I'm scared that they'll break easy >.<

Stick with the Minimate line ......you know you love it really
I WANT to. It'd be easier to. However I find myself not even really looking forward to the Black Cat and Scarlet Spider release for some reason. When I'm not pumped for 2 of my favorite characters in what should be my favorite toy line it's just alarming.

I mean... Lego. Lego is mine.
But I do like Figuarts Kaiju line. If I had the money I'd jump onto that.
I was wanting more detail not less. Figuarts definitely looks interesting though but it's expensive and they only really focus on the MCU for marvel

I didn't want you to pursue multiples. None of these sets were designed for army-building
Now it may just be me but if I was A toy company and someone shows interest in buying multiples of a figure for accessories I would definitely encourage it because even if it's a few people buying multiples it still increases profit. The last thing I'd do is tell them I don't want them to buy more of my toys than they already do.
Then again what do I know, it's not like I'm trying to throw hundreds of dollars a month of my money at the company or anything.

I'd say the point is a cool accessory like the bro hands in the upcoming Predator line make me buy multiples of one set. Not to mention his compass and pistol are KEY items for Jacob Sparrow. Even if a set isn't "designed" to sell multiples I'm just saying that as a customer I will buy multiples for cool accessories and I would think that's just good for everyone.

Anyone have a wide encompassing line that they like besides minimates? I've been looking at s h figuarts and hot toys. They both seem pretty decent. I wish figuarts had more marvel and DC stuff as their price point is a little easier for me.
How do both these lines hold up? Do either of them survive actually being played with? I'm thinking about jumping the minimate ship to start another collection.

Are you guys saying there were a significant number of TRU stores that did not stock these/ More than usual? I know there are stores that do not seem to get all Minimates, or any, but I thought they were the exception, not the rule.
I checked most TRUS from Louisville to Nashville and didn't see the Pirates wave. I got some online and would have thought about going through the trouble to get more if there were more accessories. There's not a gun in any of the packs I got. It was basically one sword per character. No compass, gun, or hair without a hat for jack was a puzzling choice if you wanted me to pursue multiples.

Its too bad tru didn't send these to entire regions of stores across the country, then based their decision on the sales that followed their madness.
Ye these never appeared in my state.

if TRU wanted more pirates, we'd probably make them.
It's too bad it's not up to the people actually buying em, like yknow... us.

He and Captain Jack run the risk of turning into the next Charlie Sheen and Charlie Harper.
I'd actually watch a well done Pirates show through something like Netflix or I guess Disney. If they could have a decent overarching story with at least some good backing Characters like Gibbs I'd for sure watch it.

For sure. There's no better way to alienate your customers.

Saves me money I guess. It's a damn shame. Pirates could have been a great property for DST but I have a feeling it went down the toilet. Did this newest movie even do better than On Stranger Tides?

I'd love to see the Walgreens mates actually at my Walgreens.
-
Maybe if we're lucky the Contest of Champions exclusives will be as easy to find! ???

I called Walgreens wth the ragnarok SKU and they said they didn't look it up by SKU just the shelves and tried to tell me they don't even carry minimates when Ive bought them there... what the hell
