August 24th, 2006 A Real Infinite Crisis: DC Minimates Delayed! What is bigger news than Marvel delaying the next issues of "Civil War?" The delay of the DC Minimates, of course! Several news source broke last week that the DC Minimates line from Art Asylum & DC Direct offered through Diamond Comic Distributors was cancelled and resolicited. Due to production issues, we had to delay the line. DC Direct is resoliciting and will inform everyone of the new in-store dates soon. DC Direct is preparing their own press release now so we'll keep you posted on when they release the news themselves. The line is not cancelled by any means, they are still being distributed at a later date than DC Direct originally planned to ensure quality is at a level the Minimates brand deserves and you have come to enjoy. So don't worry, the three planned lines will be coming out on new dates!
