Cappy Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 So that Dragon Reborn fellow was asking about using the new BSG Six release to create a Caucasian skin-toned blank (a color we will call "tan" from here on out). Being a fan of blanks, and having the new series in hand, I set about to explore the options. Here's what you can accomplish with the two Sixes and no labor at all. This is the lower half of Kobol Six and the upper half of red dress Six, with her head and torso twisted around backwards. It would be fairly simple to clean off the torso and head pieces and, viola!, you've got the blank drgnrbrn316 is looking for. And no damage is done to Kobol Six's parts, so you're not wasting a variant MiniMate. If you don't want to mess with your variant, or don't even have one, the tan blank can be done with just the basic red dress Six, since she's cast entirely in tan plastic. Arms and pelvis are the only parts that are paint-free, however. There's a lot of paint on those feet, which will require a fair amount of elbow grease to remove. And as a side note, if you tear down the Stealth Classic Cylon, you have an instant black blank. Well... almost: there are some very dark grey markings on the feet and limbs, but for a quick custom it works like a champ. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
