Danny
I am so excited about this, more than anything Minimates I think this line has so much potential if done right, and I am confident DST can deliver.
AllStarMatt
Just think of all the different colored dresses we can put Six into! We've got Red Six, Blue Six, White Six, Yellow Six, Purple Six, Black Six, Brow... <hit over the head by rabid fanboys>
AdyCarter
Its gonna be variant madness.... although the more Sixes the better IMO. (D'anna too please, so my better half can use it for a Xena custom ) Although its getting to the point where I may as well just give my pay cheque to DST every month... Between Buffy/Angel, Minimates, BSG, Trek stuff and Stargate I'm gonna be one poor person this year...
Danny
I'll buy as many different Sixes as you make, Matt. That's a promise!

Amazing.JL
Is there going to be a life-size six? This is great news. With my eventual departure from legends, these are my new interest.
The_Donster
^^Yeah, because you and me both would be picking that one up AJL
Xybot
Yeah ... No way I'm not getting 2 sets of these, openers and sealed. Wicked-bad news ... keep us posted, Matt!
Jad
That's great news to see new-BSG coming to the toy aisles, but I'll only be collecting these characters in Minimate form. For so, so many reasons, Minimates are the only figures I collect! I am curious to see what balance of accuracy & posability these sculpted figures strike. antacost
I disagree Matt... I think I'm more excited than you... Let the debate begin... This is awesome news. I was really hoping that somebody would start making figures. Glad to see it's DST and not Hasbro... Couldn't really get behind the line in 3.75", unless they were quality like we'd expect from DST. Thanks guys. You rock! So say we all.
Glomit
Has there been any word on which series it will start from? In other words, are we going to have to wait several waves before we get D'Anna? Glomit
Samwise Gamgee
<<< tears of joy, right there Thank you DST for making my year! I will buy them all! Hey Matt, any chance you could tell us who is making these?
Rad
More to the point... Any chance on seeing some control art or protos? Hungry fanyboys need to know.
Danny
So, random discussion. Matt feel free to chip in DST have the Star Trek TNG license and the Buffy/Angel license. With both of these properties each wave consists of two primary/core figures, and a raft of variants of those figures. Do you think this will be the approach DST take with BSG?
Rad
Please god no! I don't mind the odd variant but not entire waves of two characters in different costumes.
AllStarMatt
Variant overload? Nope. Good sculpts? Yup. All characters fair game? Definitely.
AdyCarter
*crosses fingers for Jean St Jean (or whoever it is that sculpts SG1) to be doing these*
Rad
Variant overload? Nope. Good sculpts? Yup. All characters fair game? Definitely. That's great news. Cheers for that Matt. Should we expect Star Trek style articulation or will it be more basic?
Amazing.JL
Will these have accessories? Guns? Helmets? Will there ever be the chance to get a Raider/Viper made? I agree with you Ady that the SG1 scupltor would be great! *crosses fingers* Thanks again DSTMatt
Xybot
Ha! The one time I actually WANT a ton of variants from a line like this ... Yes, I want Caprica variants. I want flight suit variants. I want dress uniform variants. I want New Caprica variants. I need young hairified Tigh and mustachioed Adama. And then the CYLONS ... man. The only variant I want is buck nekked boomer from the base star in series one. Nah flightsuits is cool and woud make a lot of sense. Depending on final price I may well make some space for a BSG figure collection.
Danny
Thanks for the responses Matt. I'm sure you can see the excitement is already building here* *here at the Multiverse and also IN MY HEART! Sorry, long day at work

That's why I wanted DST to get the license so that we could have all versions. Oh well, maybe we'll get more characters faster. UK ToyFair starts today, think we'll see pics soon?
