Shanester
I just got my shipping info and charge confirmation from Sideshow. I ordered this baby while at SDCC 2006 and finally, he comes home soon. This will be a cornerstone of my collection.
luke314pi
Congratulations! Sadly I had to cancel my order due to limited space and money. I also had to cancel the Fantastic Four diorama. However, I do have a special place on my shelf set aside for this one:
Shanester
Luke, that PF Captain America is totally awesome. I wouldn't be upset at all. The PF formats are cool, but man are they huge! Expensive, too!
Alpheon
Just how big are we talking? It's hard to tell from the pictures.
luke314pi
The Hulk himself is 20" tall, and his base is another 1-2" tall. He is massive.
Shanester
For Hulk: 20" H (508mm) x 18" W (457mm) x 16" D (406mm) 30.00 lbs (12.96 Kg)
luke314pi
He will be more than 30 lbs I think. Sideshow puts that number on all of their statues as an estimate. But I have smaller statues than this that are 30 lbs easily.

Amazing.JL
That's an awesome Hulk and Cap. Thanks guys for the heads up!, I've got the Green Goblin and waiting for the Spider-Man one to be released! I'm going to get my hands on the Hulk. So far I like they're detail on the SideShow figs. Room is my same problem so I'm gonig to have to stop at three.
handsomedevil
I can't believe how big those things are! Dee-zamn! Since we established size, what's the price? ...any Fantastic Four characters? A PF Thing would be sweet! (although I doubt I could afford it!)
Shanester
I can't believe how big those things are! Dee-zamn! Since we established size, what's the price? ...any Fantastic Four characters? A PF Thing would be sweet! (although I doubt I could afford it!) Not sure what Cap is running yet, but the Hulk is $325. Yes, OUCH. No F4 team members yet, but they did a PF Dr. Doom that is wicked. Sold out at $300.
luke314pi
Cap is a little cheaper at $250, but still damn expensive. I have the Doom PF, and it is amazing. It is the cornerstone of my collection. Here is a pic:
handsomedevil
Wow! That Doom is awesome! Since they are limited runs do they retain/increase in value? As cool as they are, I'd hate to buy one and then see it on eBay for a fraction of the purchase price.
Shanester
Yes, these tend to more than hold value. The Doom is hard to find and always commands a firm premium. Sideshow tends to do these in very small runs and therefore create hard to find pieces right out of the gate.
luke314pi
Yeah, this Doom statue that I paid $350 for has been selling on ebay recently for upwards of $900!
handsomedevil
Cool... If I got one, I wouldn't sell it but it's always nice to know something is worth more than you paid for it!
Jad
Wow, all those PF statues are phenomenal. I've seen the Star Wars PF statues, but was never all that impressed, but those Marvel ones... amazing. I don't have the space or funds, but I can dream!
