The season finale went out on debut broadcast date: 08 Jul 2006, BBC One [uK] Doctor Who will return to our screens with a Christmas special in 2006 and another series of 13 episodes for 2007. How long was the first episode of season 3 in America ? It's half way through, mid season break at 11 episodes. Most US seasons run for aound 20 episodes. T.
