Fujis Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 The article which you can see here only mentions resin statues and busts - but I wonder if minimates aren't that far behind? I doubt Transformers would get the treatment since they wouldn't be able to transform but G.I.JOE could translate well into minimate form. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow must be two of the most commonly done customs. There's certainly no room to add another new license to the roster this year but depending on the success of the current lines maybe we'll see some G.I.JOE in 2007. Thoughts? With two successful shows it seems they have yet to properly delve into the toy market. I hope the 7" line sells well though - they might use that as a barometer for the SG minimates.
