Psyguy
The Manchester store carries a decent selection too. Doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern to what they receive though.
Liney
The Leeds one seemed to stock everything, but that was a good three or four years back. I haven't seen any in the Shaftesbury Avenue one in London since the Creature From The Black Lagoon set came out.
Liney
I don't suppose anyone knows whether TRU in the UK will be getting any of the new Trek mates do they? Or any mates for that matter?
steviebabes
Liney, a couple of years ago I contacted TRU UK regarding 'mates and they replied that they had no plans to carry any of the lines.<br />Damn shame. If they did it would save me a fortune on the secondary market!
Liney
Darn. Oh well then. Guess that means crazy shipping rates. Joy.
UK Collector
I saw all of these in Forbidden Planet last week. Only the Enterprises were on the shelf, all of the rest were behind glass, to never be touched by a human hand... Edit: no idea why they are sideways? steviebabes
Always good to see 'mates available through retail in the UK, even if they are miles away from me, M-F! A tip off for those in the UK - the Original Series Enterprise is up for sale on amazon.uk for a very reasonable £16.99 (inc p&p).
dj87
Saw those myself, nearly got the Wolverine set for the novelty or buying in store, but don't actually want it... so didn't. Could never justify the prices either, it is almost offensive.
Pete
Worlds Apart in Liverpool has tons of Minimates. Was visiting last week, saw various Marvel waves, TWD and Star Trek.
UK Collector
Worlds Apart in Liverpool has tons of Minimates. Was visiting last week, saw various Marvel waves, TWD and Star Trek. Awesome. I will check it out next time I'm up there. I do love to search for comic shops when I'm in a different city. I was in Valencia for a stag doo a couple of weeks ago. Sadly the only day I had spare to do shopping was a Sunday, and no shops were open. Bummer.

infinte fathom
I'm in Manchester currently, fp Manchester had quite a variety of Minimates ( marvel, sfxt, expendables, star trek). The prices however were awful, asking £10 for most 2 packs.
DDM101
Forbidden planet in Nottingham has a fair few mates. Was in there today and the had loads of marvel, walking dead, trek, street fighter and universal monsters. I picked up wave 50 and 51. Two packs are still a tenna but I can just about live with that
