youbastards Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 Anyone else getting errors searching for Minimates on TRU.com over the past 3 or 4 days? I mostly search from my phone, but also noticed similar errors searching from my work PC too. I wonder if "The Server failed to communicate" is why TRU 13 hasn't shown up online? groundhog7s Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 I don't get that error, but when I use my saved searches at work on TRU it jumps to different screens whenver I try and search for anything and then opens up 5-6 browsers when I try and close the site. groundhog7s Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 GH, that sounds like some spyware has gotten on your system, an antivirus scan should be run on your machine. Opening up of unwanted browser windows is usually a sign that something os on there that shouldn't be. It's my work computer and it's been scanned a few times since it started and there's nothing on there. The browsers that open up are all the same TRU page that I was looking out. I've also been doing daily google searches for their site as well because usually it takes a couple days before their internal search engine picks up new product on their site. youbastards Posted June 24, 2012 Author Share Posted June 24, 2012 Ok, looks like I've narrowed it down a little, I am only seeing the error on Android devices. I've tested on Apple devices, no problems. Windows 7 running IE9, no problems. My Android phone gives me the error (what I usually use) My Nook (running Android) also gives the exact same error.
