demonpr
So has anyone tried getting a large scale articulated minimates printed in the cheaper plastics? 2 or 3 time the size of the standard (5") so that we can create Giant Man, Giganta, galactus and Sentinels? What kind of cost do they run?
hellpop
Bumping this up after seeing Nervous' great He-Man, as I'm taking the plunge too. Ordering a power sword and the gear to make Stratos; if I like it well enough, I'll probably do Skeletor too.
Nervous Rex
Nice! If you didn't order already, I'd highly suggest the ultra fine detail material. Hit me up when you get them. They can be a bit delicate in some areas, so as Otis redding would say, " try a little tenderness " when handling ;-)
hellpop
My daughter got sick in her bed last night, so I ended up being up late, so I put in an order while I was winding back down. Ah, the joys of parenthood! I took Dino's advice and sprung for the frosted detail one, despite it being a little more expensive. If all goes well, I'll probably buy He-Man's shield and axe later. I was disappointed to see that the furry loin cloth you have isn't available right now, Nervous. Guess I'll be sticking with leftover Thundercats Mutants pants for now. I saw that someone made a pretty awesome looking Judge Dredd helmet for Lego; has anyone contacted him about maybe scaling it for Minimates?
