Alright, as discussed in the other thread Avengers is now on Netflix streaming. And Youtube, if you don't have Netflix. If we're going to to a Minimate Night, we need to decide a few things. Also, please not the the "times" are not actual hours. I am not suggesting a 3 hour chat by any means. But rather, I just want to get a sense of the time of day.

I think that should just about cover it.

My vote is we watch an episode every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and post our thoughts in a thread. My experience has been that chats are a little confusing and a thread might give you more time to organize your thoughts. Every Monday morning, for example, someone could post the Netflix episode description and start the conversation. Then everyone would have all day Monday and Tuesday to talk about it and reply to other's comments. Then Wednesday morning the next episode description would be posted and we'd start talking about that one for two days.

And it sounds like we are waiting til after the holidays, so I propose we start with Netflix episode 1 on January 2.

Just my thoughts. I'm really looking forward to rewatching this series and hearing what you guys have to say about it. Especially some of you with extra Avengers knowledge to share. Glad this idea is catching on!

I'll be watching on you tube and just want to clarify what episode "1" is. Are we starting with the "Break out" episode or the compiled micro "origin" episodes? I'm good either way but if we start with break out I want to go watch the micros myself first.

i suggest starting with the micros, seeing as they cobble together into full episodes and are very important to the story

Start with the micros. Iron Man is up first if I remember right...

When I originally watched this series I started with Break Out and thought it was an EPIC first episode... then the next few were the compiled micros and they seemed like a better jumping on point. Just not as epic. But we'll start with the micros so we can discuss everyone's little back story, character design, how cool it is etc. I'm really looking forward to this. I almost started watching it today, but I'm really trying to wait for our start date.

On netflix they compiled the micros into the first 9 or so episodes I believe.
