No birthday here, I stopped celebrating them when I turned 92. At least I feel that old lately. I'll probably go, I went last year but didn't stay long, this year I hope to take some extra time off from work and go to some of the forums.

I pre-ordered from Stuckakid and haven't heard anything yet but I figure we've waited what a year for these allready so whats another few days?!

One word, Stuckakid. They are VERY professional, I can't imagine anyone having a bad thing to say about them, I do all my pre-orders and anything else I can order from them. I even did my secret santa through them and the recognized who i was and threw in some freebies. They have banners all over this site you can't go wrong!

Sounds like you were the lucky recipient of the highly rare Invisible New Avengers set. Don't you remember that scene from the New Avengers book where they were all invisible? You know, the one, right before they did the thing to that guy? Anyway, don't lose them, as they're bound to be worth money some day.

Of course, its entirely possible that the guy you were going to ebay them to managed to hack your computer, digitize the minimates, and download them to his computer. That would also explain why he didn't pay.

Yeah, I'm like that too, but about everything. So, I'm not sure if I can relate...or not. I'm pretty obsessive, just, overall, but especially with my Minimates. Finally, when my sister asked for the LAST TIME if she could touch mine, I bought her a Phoenix/New Wolverine 2-Pack. But she never plays with them. Sigh. But otherwise, I'm pretty much with Energy-Man's situation.

My guess is that if the news is correct then they'll be new takes on those characters, lets face it we've come a long way since those two.

I started going to meetings every monday. It's supposed to be "anonymous" but we have to start every meeting standing up and saying our name, how were addicted, it's kind of embarrasing. I did meet Lyndsey Lohan though...

I second that I just watched all of season 1 and 2 and have kept up pn season 3 pretty well but there's still a bunch of those I don't recognize. Not that I'm bitching mind you any mate is a good mate in my book!

Not sure where to put this but with all the new stuff being hyped at Toyfair can we put a timeline together so I can call me mortgage broker and let him know when I need the extra cash for all the mates comming out? I'm not too artistic myslef and have never really tried customs other than my avatar so can't answer to trademark issues other than as long as you're nottrying to sell them I think things are fair game. Good luck and can't wait to see pics of your first customs!

Hmmm I'm torn. The cynic in me says hurah for saying what we were all thinking, but the frosted side of me... No that's not right. I would never complain about a bit of dry humor, though I would worry that (and I think this idea has been tossed around before) if we get too carried away we may never get any information again. Just curious if anyone is playing city of heroes? I have several toons on the protector server and would dig hooking up and playing with other members. OR, (I just had an epiphany) what about having a Minimate Multiverse Supergroup? Let me know if you're on protector I usually play on the weekends and have several different toons. Darcstar lvl 50 blaster, Girl Thang lvl 50 tank, Fire Chick lvl 32 troller, so on and so on.

i ordered some cylons from STUCKAKID and the service and communication was fantastic. i have since ordered DC wave1 and BSG wave 1 from them(i missed out on the variant as well) and plan on continuing to pre order from them in the future, as i have no local place to buy MM and STUCKAKID has been topnotch. my $.02 -Matt
