I gave that skirt piece to the PF ranger because the color matches almost perfectly. I bought some Lego scabbards but that make me feel like a brand traitor.

I lost so many swords that I'm planning on buying more than 1 set of these just to replenish my mini armory.

Can I make 1 request? Scabbards. Swords have to live somewhere when they are not stabbing people. I know it's too late for this set but even a little belt loop like on SE's sash or on the skirt from the PF goblin set would be awesome!

Finished Sandman yesterday, which got me thinking about how nice it would be to get some Minimates from the show. I figure three box sets, one based on the first five episodes of the show, one on the last four, and one on the largely standalone episode six:

Set One:
Dream (robed with helm)/Lucifer/Johanna Constantine/John Dee

Set Two:
Dream (1789)/Hob Gadling (1789)/Lady Johanna Constantine/Death

Set Three:
Dream (long coat)/Corinthian/Rose Walker/Gilbert

If those do well enough, I could see one last set focusing on The Dreaming:
Lucienne/Cain/Abel/Merv

Overall I quite enjoyed the show, although I'm afraid that the second half does not live up to the first. I think the biggest problem is that the actress playing Rose Walker just isn't up to the demands of the role. And of course, the Death episode is the standout, just like the comic it was adapted from was the standout of the early issues of the series.

I can't praise this show enough! Ive been going through my parts bin to find parts to make some of the major characters. I agree that Rose felt flat as the role got more complex. I would love to see Johanna Constantine face off against John Constantine in a head to head battle!

Are these characters all still considered DC characters?

A sub-series devoted to e.g. Silver Age Batman, or Flash & Rogues, or old school JSA would be right up my alley. But DC fans, at least toy buying ones, don't seem to share the same nostalgia that Marvel fans have. Even McFarlane's Super Powers revival has gone modern.

I don’t know. I thought they did a good job of mixing it up. I mean, we got Ma Hurkel before a whole bunch of modern characters. A bunch of JSA characters were represented. That aside, I would have loved a hawk & dove, black canary, and firestorm. At least they dug deeper into more obscure characters than Marvel mates have in a while.
