honestly, just from the pics and the character designs, unless they choose the most generic humans to make i'd buy these regardless of whether the movie flops. I'll either have a fondness for the characters or use the parts somewhere else (or both).

If it was a near-miss, I doubt it would be something vintage or niche without a lot of modern media support, like Jem or Matrix. This is making me zero in on Mortal Kombat. I can't dare to hope for Indy or Star Wars.

I ended up making my own canopy after all. It was a bit of a pain but the one I was trying to borrow was coming out with such thin walls that it was super-fragile. Now I can tweak the dimensions all I want and control the thickness. I've just finished up another revision I'm rather happy with and will start to print another prototype. I've fixed everything I can think of that needs fixing. I may have another go at the rear engine pods. Trying to keep it compact but I think they'd look better a little longer and thinner. Anyway, getting close to done.

You can't really see it in the pic, but she has the black choker. I am also going to experiment with a tiny white rubber band for her headband, just ordered a batch from Amazon.

Never seen this version before. I like the idea of the mini rubberband for the headband, too.
