I just got home from seeing the new Star Trek movie and let me preface this with the fact that I am not a Star Trek guy. I always thought it was cheesy and lame in comparison to Star Wars. I loved this movie. Loved it. There are toss ups to the original there and the way that they incorporate Leonard Nimoy is clever. I won't get into it too far because I would hate to ruin anything for anyone but everyone should see this movie this weekend. This may turn out to be one of the best movies of the summer. I can not wait to see it again.

Even if you hate their music, you can't say they wouldn't make good 'Mates, two guys in clown makeup with various slasher-esque weaponry. Even so you could always use them as Joker's henchmen.

I disagree plus I think that there is enough of their logo feces spread across the landscape as it is. Is there any way you can explain the appeal of that group? I have tried on several occasions to listen to one song. ONE. And I have yet to be able to get to the end of one yet.

My top five movies always change depending on mood, etc. They're always pulled from the top 30 or so, but narrowing it down to five is tough.

And 3 people so far put Shaun of the Dead in their top five. That is surprising to me. I might actually like Hot Fuzz more.

I actually applaud the noobs optimism.

I first got into minimates because of the DC line, and when it ended, I was mad, but after a time (unless your a whiny baby) I moved on to the Marvel and C3 lines.

Unless your a fool, when a really hot girl breaks up with you, don't sulk and sit around forever like a dork, grow a pair and move on to another really hot girl or two. If the hot girl comes back, then ^&*% both or all of em!

As BHM stated it is quite tiresome. As it appears that you have just joined us on the board I will give you a rough history of our positivity. When DCD first announced that wave 8 would be the last we stayed positive thinking that if we bought wave 8 and sent them emails about how much we like the product and that we would continue to support the product that they would change their minds. They didn't. Threads like this one are like having a really hot girl break up with you and every once in a while she sends you an email to tell you how happy she is without you. When someone is sick you stay positive, when they are dead you mourn. DCD Minimates are dead.

Mods, is there any way to lock this section of the board until which time there is something new to put in it.

I by no means hated it but there is no excuse for such terrible CG effects in the summer ten pole of a major studio. It had the same rush feeling that X-Men 3 had. I won't even get into the middle school dialog.

If you go to Deadpool on wikipedia, apparently there are two endings with him. I dunno' of the other is real, but one can be found on youtube here. You should hurry up and watch it before it's taken down, they are pretty good at that.
