  1. Heres my review:

Package: the package is very colorful, and reminds me of the 90's spider man cartoon

Sandman: This figure is nothing like the prototype and package shots. He features a powerhouse chestpeice, and his hands and wrists are golden translucent. His legs are not a solid color, instead their speckled to look like sand. His shins and feet are translucent like his hands. His head is a separate sculpted piece like the jj Jameson's. Underneath is a hidden surprise! his face is translucent like his hands and feet. He comes with two "sand blasts" that are repaints of johnny storms fire blasts. Overall this is probably the best figure in the bunch. 10/10

Hydroman: This figure is exceptionally well also. He looks like the prototype shots, but has a little bit more chest detailing. His arms are see through blue. He comes with two "water blasts" that are re uses of ryus hadokens. 10/10

Buff Venom: Nothing really stands out on this one. Its the regular venom with the power house chest peice and an ugly head. 4/10

Torment Spidey: Another exceptional figure. Hes got a lot of detail, and definitely is not another stupid spiderman reissue. 10/10

Mele Symbiote Spiderman: Its an ok figure overall. Battle damaged black spider man would be a bettwer name because thats what it basically is. I do love the face though, you can see peter parkers face and hair. Since dst couldnt reissue the regulay black spidey, they gave us a bd one. I have a custom black spiderman so im not one to complain. 8/10

  2. Jatta, this is a fantastic thread, I've been meaning to compliment you on it. Incredibly useful, as well as scary. Pretty sure my credit cards are going to melt come July. :D

One question though, the Target Spider-Man 'Mates? Have they been cancelled?

i was in my lcs and some guy claimed he picke them up, either hes lying, or he bought them all because i called all the targets in my are (5 or so) and noby knows what im talking about

  3. the biggest problem is that hasbro focused on quanity not quality for series one, they look like crap (with the exception of hulk and ult. ironman) and every store is pretty much overstocked, and wont clearance them. I really like a bunch of the figures in series 2, but probally will never find them in stores due to the fact that series one did so terribly.

  4. I can't believe nobody's brought this up yet...

Samuel L. Jackson is playing Nick Fury!

Looks like they're trying to do some carry over for the Marvel produced movies, and he'll probably be reprising the role down the road...

That's just the awesome cherry on the awesome sundae of awesomeness that's going to be Iron Man, which is going to be awesome...

Playing him in the Iron Man Movie, or his own? So they're going down the road of Ultimate Nick Fury. In volume one, they said if an Ultimates movie was made, He'd play Nick. Quite ironic. Also in recent Ultimate issues they have drawn Nick with an uncanny likeness to Samuel L. Jackson. I think he's a great choice.

i beleive this is just a rumor, was it actually confirmed?

the character of ult. nick fury is actually based off of jackson, so hed be the first and only choice for the role

  5. No worries, I'm going to try to go with something that's not on the list to be made :D

Just to get people's hopes up? ;)

Actually a silhouette of all sixteen would be pretty sweet...and scary!

Well, whatever I'm working on now is coming out of a coffin.

Maybe it should just be a blank?

a blank minimate with a monster-mate logo maybe?

  6. Guys,

(Sorry i did'nt say this earlier, I had to talk this over with my family, and get permission and every thing straight)

My family is very active in a charity for a transplant camp called Camp Michitanki. Its a camp for kids in Michigan who have had Liver, Kidney, and Heart Transplants. Its in Oscota, and the kids go there for a week in August. Many of the families cannot afford for their kids to go to camp, because of the costs of a transplant. We do a couple of fundraisers like golf and bowling events, and are sponsered by the University of Michigan Transplant Center. My sister has had a liver and kideney transplant, and today is actually her one year anniversary for her kidney transplant, so that is why we are very active.

Fujis if you are interested in suppourting this event for the charity please contact:
