That is an awesome variant, although I still think we need a re-done Heroes for Hire Luke and Danny sometime soon. The old styled ones were great at the time, but don't hold up any more given the level of detail we are used to these days. I think it's very easy to explain. People are voting for the ones they think won't ever have a chance outside the poll and are leaving the bigger names that have great chances of making it in some other wave. Also some of us just like Songbird. That's cool and all... it's just crushing me because this poll is like my Minimate dream list...3 out of my top 5 'must be made' 'mates are on it, 4 out of my top 10 for chrissakes... and well... let's just say Songbird isn't one of them. There was really only one way I couldn't win with this poll, and it's unfolding before my eyes. Not trying to disparage anyone's choices, I understand people like what they like. This one is just a tough pill for me to swallow. What are the other Thunderbolts have been made that she would complete the set of? Just that one 4-pack?

Hmmm... why can't i add my votes to this poll in this thread? I voted for the first poll, but it won't let me add my votes this time... why? It really crushes me to see Songbird, the turd of this group of awesome selections, doing so well. I went with Black Knight II and Banshee... if Songbird wins, I am coming for all of you!

Viola (although the camera flash made him look a little glossier than he really is)... Not comic accurate by any means, but I had the extra from one of the IM 4-packs and figured 'close enough for now'. It's the "close enough" desperation rule for me. We have an incomplete Hellfire club from that era, I don't think they'll get to Shaw anytime soon, this one was close enough to be cut into the back of my Hellfire club grouping.

Anyone find these at their LCS today? Wondering if I should hunt tonight or just give a few days / a week before looking.

Casual Thor! Jigsaw! There's two I forgot about, and also have them cut in on 616 shelves. Add the Punisher movie mate too I guess, although I sort of have him off on his own fighting off a bunch of custom mafia goons.

Just recently set up some new, completely separate from my 616 'mates, shelving for my Marvel Movie Mates. So in the process of the move/new set-up, it made me realize that I have a bunch of MMMMs that I have cut in with my MMMs... Spidey3 Sandman (Wave 18, sand form) Thor Destroyer Cap Dugan Head (used on a new Shield Agents body) IM1 Iron Monger (with painted on clear blue paint so he's almost in 616 form) IM1 Tony Stark in Suit XMOW Logan in Tan Vest XM1C Sebastian Shaw (cut in with my 616 Hellfire Club...almost did Azazel as well but ultimately left him with the other MMMMs) Hulk Betsy Ross Hulk General Ross I think that's all of them... might end up cutting Uncle Ben in from the new Spidey as well. What have you all cut-in, if any?

My choices are at #2 and #3... so I'm happy enough with that. Seems like Blue GR is inevitable though. Why do I feel like despite the polls, Cyborg Spidey is also inevitable?

Well I don't mean just give us 4 direct re-releases either. There's no reason you can't get creative using existing parts and fill out the sets with other fan wants with slight deco changes to existing parts... Steve Rogers as the Captain (Cap/Us Agent Parts, Repainted Taskmaster Shield)... Classic Black Panther (BP re-release with no cape and slight deco change to gloves and boots... West Coast Avengers Hawkeye (Dark Hawkeye with a Clint Barton head and proper facial expression), James Rhodes Iron Man, etc. But yet another Cap or Thor wouldn't bother me if it means we get the 'Crew.

Strike two for me on the Grim Reaper set. Stopped at a Disney Store on the way to see Mom today and they had the same thing out as my local store... full case of 12 Kang sets, no sign of the other set. I brought a picture with me this time to try and get them to check the back, but they were short-staffed, it was crowded and I didn't have the time to wait. Maybe the third time will be a charm... or I'll just order it online and be done with it.

Kind of sounds like most stores got the two cases, but don't know that each case has a separate set in it and are putting out one or the other at a time. Someone at DST should send an email to Disney to tell them to inform their stores to put out both cases. $40 sales are better than $20 sales! Maybe I'll go back and try again, or just wait to see what Monday brings. BTW, Kang is badass... easily in my top 10 MMM's already. He looks fantastic in person.

I can certainly agree that a 'Crew 4-pack's ideal release point would not be as a TRU exclusive. Just wanted to point out that they ARE wanted; they are tied to almost every major Avenger in some way, they do have some looser ties to Spidey, they have always been mentioned as fan favorites across many lines/toy platforms, they have been recently featured in two separate marvel cartoon tv shows, they were just released in a major toy line in Legends (granted, seperately and not all at once) - we do want to see them made and have so for several years. And let's face it... with the dawn of the bigger body parts, they'd look cool as *bleep* in minimate form. How 'bout two convention exclusive 4-packs? Two crew members, two Avengers (rehashed minimates even)? Any takers?

Picked up the Kang set up here in MA. My store only had what looked like 10-12 of that set out, no sign of the Reaper set. When I asked if they maybe had it out back I got the standard 'everything we have is on the floor' answer, which we've all heard enough times to know that's not necessarily true. The next closest Disney Store is 40 miles each way... as it stood today, I had a 30 mile round trip to make to get the Kang set. Going to probably end up ordering the Reaper set online... too few Disney stores, too many miles out... the gas will be more than the shipping. Not sure why even cases weren't made mixed instead of two different solid cases, but oh well.

But does anyone else? If Spider-Man was in the Wrecking Crew, we'd have made it years ago. I hope we'll do it someday, but not as a TRU exclusive. Maybe at a con. We'll see how this year's sets do. I think so. I could certainly build an argument that they're wanted more than the Age of X or Mutants vs Vampires sets or the MvC variants from last year's con (granted, I realize there are budget restrictions that have to be followed in that case). Just hope it gets done at some point, no matter how it gets released.

Just make the wrecking crew and get it over with already!!!! You know we've wanted them for years.

I for one would like to see a good, clean poll this time. Vote for who you want to vote for, but I'd really like to avoid seeing the intentional skewing this time. I remember people bragging during Secret Wars voting about how many IP's they used to vote multiple times, how many non-minimate collecting friends and family they got to vote for their choice... I sort of see all of that as working against the true intention of the poll, which is finding out a consensus on what MMM collectors want, not finding out which person can skew it to their own choice by how many votes they can put through.

Theyre not the same thing, but know that if it weren't for Kubricks, there'd be no minimates.
