Bearded Thor and Loki look amazing! Let's just hope that the rest of the line is a good mix of Avengers through out the ages and not just the founding members from the first few issues. Does anyone really want the Hulk in his purple speedos? C'mon HAWKEYE! Fingers crossed.

In the last Q&A you said that there could be a possibility of more boxed sets down the road. Which kind? Repacked mass market type like the ones at TRU or original minimates and packaging like the Giant Sized X-men 6 pack?

i think u should go on with ur customates, they might be better than the wave 5 ones. has any1 noticed that (the name excapes me at this moment) the minimates that is with Red Tornado is shorter than him, either he's 2.5" or she's 1.75" (which is unheard of)!

:batmanblue: If you look closely at her feet, you'll notice she has the new Minimate Slipper feet that will debut with the Penguin. That and her head piece make her look shorter.

NOOOO! This totally sucks! I was hoping that they'd skip doin' Guy Gardner and Kilowog so I could get another chance to make second custom versions of them. They were about a week or 2 away from completion. Do I go on or wait for the real thing? To be honest, I'm very impressed with series 5 but (ego aside) Guy looks like he's got a beer gut and Kilowog head is shaped like a squash. Bummer.

i was wondering if there are anything i need to do after i get the paint on cause i was planning on going to a place where they do caricatures and ask them to spray paint my dark phoenix. would i need any selance or something???

Scored a case of each Cylon sets at my local comic book shop. Plus I was GIVEN (free of charge) the CYLON ELF exclusive from the owner of the shop. Hot damn!

I was looking at Diamond Comics shipping list online and they said that the "Modern" Cylon MM were shipping this week. Anyone know if those are the only ones coming this week? Are the "Classic" Cylons going to ship as well? Anybody know?

Just wanted to wish all the forum members a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Here's hoping that 2007 will be the greatest MM collecting year to date. So far, if everything ships on time, it's looking that way. Let the collecting madness begin with the BSG Cylon sets and bring on the DCD MMs. I also wish that DST gives all the Marvel junkies their wish of a classic Avengers series this upcoming year. Have an amazing holiday season everybody! Peace.

BTW: What did you use for Guy Gardner's Jacket?
I cannabilized an Assault Punisher jacket and rebuilt it with milliput and had to do a LOT of sanding.

Flippin' A Sweet!!! Love the new wave! Especially Steel, Bane, WC, Spectre and GA flash. To bad BG has the full head mask with face painted on. I heard rumors that this was so when the mask was off, the characters would have a second expression. What ever! Wildcat doesn't have that crap with his mask and he looks phenominal. You can even make a Black Panther custom with his mask (with a bit of filling). What's with Deadman's v-neck? Just a bad pose on the figure? Hope it goes down some more. Can't wait for 2007! Seems like it will definitely be the year of the minimate. Come on DST, get your asses in gear and try to one up DCD with your Marvel property!

If DC Direct eventually dedcides to do boxed sets like they did with the Pocket Superheroes line which teams or groupings should they do? Keep the pack to a minimum of 6 MMs like the Giant Sized X-men set was. Here are some of my dream sets.
Teen Titans:Beast Boy, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Wonder Girl and Superboy.
Arkham Asylum:Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Two-face, Mr. Freeze, Mad Hatter and the Ventriloquist
The Legion of Super-Heroes: Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Live Wire, Braniac 5, Kid Quantum 2 and M'onel
Green Lantern Corps: Gantheth, Salakk, Katma Tui, Tomar Tu, Kyle Rayner and John Stewart (original costume)
