Seeing how I wont get a chance to see the book untill next week I gotta ask....was there a pic with the solicit for the Spidey 3 waves?
Jeff of the Mnis
If you are reffering to Previews, they did solicite wave 17 & 18 for Spider-man 3, but the pic was the same one we've seen of the silhouetted figures. Maybe the NY comicon will shed some light on what they look like.

Anybody notice that GL's lantern battery has it's handle on the wrong way? Looking at this pic Green Lantern you can see that the flat parts are on the top and bottom, where as the "charging" sides are front and back. Well I bought a case and every battery is the opposite.
Now I tried boiling the piece in water and moving the handle (which worked, but then the handle touches the flat sides and Hal can't hold his battery. To bad, it would've look much nicer the correct way. Anybody else notice this? Like I said, I bought a whole case and all the batteries were like this. Can't be a fluke.

The ad lists Powerhouse Venom in the text twice.
So it does... damned editors!

Nice pics, thanks man! Just one question, where do you buys these?

Your best bet is to get them at your local comic book shop. Online stores are another option.
You CANNOT buys these at TRU, Wal-mart or Target.

Man! I love these little guys! I can't remember a time I was more excited to open up minimates. Sure wasn't the DC C3 line. Thank you so much DCD and AA. You guys have gone above and beyond. Keep 'em comin'!

QUOTE(O.B @ Feb 19 2007, 11:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Why does Sandman feature in both series 17 and 18?According to the silouetted pic from DST, he's in his human form in wave 17 and in wave 18 he's sportin' a giant sand hand, sand hammer and sandpile lower torso. He'll probably have different facial expressions as well (my guess).

Yeah, great find! Thanks for posting it. And like MM said, where did you find it?
Just found it myself. It's over at the Wizarduniverse.com store.

Check it...
Hey Vox, where'd you find this pic?

Here it is in the The Diamond Comics shipping list for Feb 21, 2007 . Look in the DC comics section.

Love the fact that the second Sandman comes with his trademark and giant sand fist, sand hammer and sandpile lower half accessories. Hope these'll look good attached to the comic book version that came with Silver sable.

I think there is a silouette missing. If there are 6 MMs per wave and 1 variant there should be a total of 14 shadows not 13. My guess is the transformation Venom variant is missing from the line up. I only see one Venom with big chest piece and clawed hands.

Well, it appears that Starbuck was not a "buy $300 worth of stuff and get free" freebie. Most of the auctions up now simply say that she was given out to any visitors to the Diamond booth. Judging by the fact that they also gave out the Jon Stewart GL again, I'd say Starbuck will be given out again/more readily available later. I'm going to hold off for now and see how it pans out.
By the way, I think Rad is on to something...
Is that for real? No purchase of $300.00 required? Damn that's a shame!

Anybody know when the next edition of the DST Q&A will be posted up to read?
-
Anybody know if DST is limited to making the MMs of BTTF or will they be able to make other accessories like playsets and the Dolorian?

Well... according to Toyfare this past week, the Kellog's mascot minimates are still on tap to come out later this year. How do you guys think they'll be sold? As a boxed set through Previews or do you think they'll be available as a pack-in in their respective cereal boxes? Mind you, the boxed set would make them easier to obtain, but the though of having to buy cereal boxes and collect them that way makes me feel like a kid again. Hey... come to think of it, they might even be a mail away promotion with the proofs of purchase from the boxes. Cool!

I love the fact that the Paulie MM has the Kingpin type cigar hand, unlike the second Starbuck MM from BSG wave 3. The cigar sticking out of the hand (on Paulie) looks so much more natural than the new sculpted hand that holds the cigar. Not to mention the fact the cigar that comes with Starbuck is more likely to get lost (seeing how it's a teeny tiny accessory). Just my thought on the subject.
DCD Minimates series 2 moved up one week earlier!!!

Well folks, it looks like DCD wants to get their minimates out the door and into our homes. Yet again they have bumped up the releases of series 2 from March 28, 2007 to March 21, 2007 . Boo yah!! This just keeps getting better and better. Check it out: DC Direct arrival update.
