Gosh it keeps getting harder to not buy the Star Wars ones! I'm pretty sure I'll cave when they do a Kit Fisto though =) I'm finding myself getting more excited over Mighty Muggs than Minimates lately. Gotta get that SDCC Exclusive Peter Parker and the Movie Iron Man Exclusive! Anyone else hoping for a Stealth Repaint of the Series 1 Iron Man? =)

Found 3 more today, Thing, Cap, and Doc. Doom. While I think they are a lil big, its very refreshing to have something so unique. Once I find Venom & Wolverine, I will be up to date =) Thanks again for the upc's guys, they were really a big help!

Awesomeness! These pics were very much a surprise! Even more of a surprise, I'm actually liking the hulk minimates after all, well should they make hulk green, not grey, and get rid of the duck feet. The chest piece seems more like the traditional "powerhouse" piece that was used before, which is cool. Invaders are cool, pretty confused about the blue mask though... did he ever wear that? Looks pretty cool though *shrugs shoulders* That Human Torch is quite amazing! Love the Iron Man Box set. EVERY single one of them. Definitely buying at least 2, Modular Iron Man is perfect. The Iron Man movie wave is great too. Even liking the variant *sigh* TOO many awesome minimates coming! =)

Thanks for the compliment TBT! =) As far as Natasha's face, I chose that one for a couple reasons. The green eyes and pink lips were a perfect match and the facial expression fits her pretty well. I do think I will go back and redo Yelena's stomach like you said though, and paint curves similar to Firestars. As far as future customs go, no plans right now haha. Its just Black Widow is my favorite female character and with no plans from DST in the near future for a release, I had to take matters into my own hands =) And knowing DST, when she is released, she will probably be sporting the New X-Men Phoenix hair hahaha

Well these are my first attempts customizing and I'm actually really proud of the way they came out. Very little painting had to be done (Belts, Bracelets, and Yelena stomach) and the rest was just part swapping. So here they are: NATASHA ROMANOVA YELENA BELOVA I'd appreciate the comments =)

A lot of these are really fantastic! My favorite is Batman, looks awesome with clean paint lines =)

Hey guys, I am in the process of making a Yelena Belova Black Widow custom, which requires me having to paint the lower half of the torso block a flesh tone color. Problem is, I'm having trouble trying to find a good color match. Does anyone any suggestions or recommendations? The 3 I have tried so far come out looking like a bad spray tan lol My only other option is going the route Marvel Legends did, which was just to leave her in a full black body suit like Natasha but ehh, is that being lazy? Thanks =)

I only have the regular box set of Halo Kubrick's so far, still looking for the Variant box set with the black Master Chief- if anyone has an extra, I'd appreciate the help! While the Marvel ones do occasionally tempt me, I try to stay true to minimates =) They are pretty awesome figures though.

2) What's the reason for the constant reuse of the New X-Men Phoenix Hairpiece? Currently sporting the same haircut are: New X-Men Jean Grey, Black Cat, Silver Sable, Spider-Woman I, Spider-woman II, Miss Marvel AND the upcoming Dagger. DSTChuck: Its better then the MJ hair. Well there you have it, they are all sporting the same hairstyle simple because its better than sporting MJ's hairstyle. Silly me, should have known that... *rolls eyes* I would have preferred an honest "Were lazy" response but ehh *shrugs shoulders*

I'm just happy we get that other cap shield as it gives DST more reason to make Patriot from Young Avengers =)

Someone trade me a US Agent! Hes one of my favorite characters and I'd love to have him in the "exclusive" packaging. woo =) I can throw in some extra minimates to sweeten the deal too. I got a black Spiderman with powerhouse chest piece as my Free comic book Day Minimate =)

No wonder I dont like them either- after looking at the pic again, theres nothing really square minimate-ish about em. Just looks like a really bad figure!

Omgosh! I consider myself a big Black Widow fan yet I never knew about that armor! Thats freakin cool! Do you have a list of issues it appeared in?

I don't mind any of the other 3 hairpiece reuse so far as they have only been used 3 times each and have worked quite well. But once it has been used 3 or 4 times, I think they got there money out of it lol I mean at least give a rest for a couple waves! I really do hope that Dagger gets a different hairpiece as I don't even think it fits her all that well but I wont hold my breath! Just when I think the trend may be over it seems the Marvel guys have gave into "The Rachel" as well! Its like a virus I tell you!!! lol

EEK! I had really high hopes for this wave, especially coming off the awesome Iron Man wave but boy do these dissapoint! I HATE the duck feet and all the chunkiness they are adding to make them look bigger. For me, the Powerhouse chest piece did a great job doing that and I think thats what they need to go back to. I agree that the source material here is what made them look so bland and we might have been better off just getting a limited edition Movie hulk 2pack or a small run Boxset rather than putting these awful things into the main series! *sigh*
