but, to be fair, they've said the whole "not going backwards" thing before and we got the avengers box set, the deadpool, and the logan sets

attitude can count for more than just resemblance.  you ever see a kid that reminds you of an older person?  its usually attitude and mannerisms.  so if you're a bad ass than Samuel works!

favorite comic character is the flash so i scooped up that big bang theory set just for the shirt   
and i’m more of a boxers guy but meh   And other than the beer gut my chest does look like this

i could find a better picture of me b/c my hair is a little shorter than normal here and my eyes are closed but i figured the rest of the photo is worth showing 

i do.  i'm at work but can post pics later.  made a custom t-shirt for him (me?) too that i took to san diego one year and had him take a picture with eric powell (goon) and terry moore (strangers in paradise).

to be fair, i'm pretty generic looking so it was easy

hell yeah -- maverick and that stealth dept h wolverine have been at the top of my wishlist for years!

i opened mine with an exacto knife so that i could fold the front flap open, remove the figure and accessories, and then close it up again.  i just don't want to throw away this awesome packaging.

well, the gaurdians of the galaxy trailer makes me really want minimates of those new uniforms........

the packaging is cool.

i would prefer something more environmentally friendly but would keep this for con exclusives or something.

Larry Hama is supposed to come to a con here next year so i'll probably keep the snake eyes carded so i can get it signed.

@DSTZach is there some kind of licensing agreement against selling minimates packaged with the vinimates?

i'm not sure i've seen that done yet

so i hate to be that guy......but now that series 1 is shipping when can we expect a series 3 announcement?!

Superior Foes of Spider-man were only 5.  Could have Silvermane's head (was that his name?  the mobster whose head was attached to an RC car?) and some version of spiderman as in the box as well.

I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone but i hope we eventually get some of these characters (i’m actually thinking of a civilian) in some form or fashion.  As well as some of the new heroes as well

Unless it was a character who’s backpack was absolutely necessary (a diver for example) i’m cool with no backpacks.  Storm shadow’s backpack was well done.

love this list but truth be told -- they can basically do no wrong by me 

i think flint and lady jaye are shoe ins.   bazooka and shipwreck would be my hope for the other two slots.  that's assuming these are going to go in some kind of order.  the ninja set was a surprise just because those were later designs than i was expecting we'd be at by now.

for villians i'm just praying we get firefly in the next wave.  

any hints as to who is in Wave 3?
