Hats are what we need, a good fedora type hat would go down a storm I've been thinking of making moulds for parts but have no clue where to start... you might be able to point me in the right direction. Yeah, you are probably right. I just wanted to see what the response would be on this forum since I think we've got more fanatics here. I would pick this up not only because I think it's totally sweet but because I want to support Matt who has done amazing work on the BSG and DC lines as well as being a helluva guy and doing the interview for MMHQ despite his hectic schedule. lol no worries, considering some of the quotes you could have pulled from the old board of things I said that one is pretty safe lol I sound like such a nay sayer - maybe it's the fact we've had a long wait for anything new.. I just dont want to get peoples hopes up, as I said if it happened I'd buy several just because they are cute. T.

Hey Tenian, Welcome to the board We actually value our newbie posts and suggestions as we tend to get settled in our ways and like to hear fresh opinions I'd say you're pretty accurate with the store thing, I am always dissapointed when I see mates in 'the big chains' as the always seem swamped by everything else and never stand out. Maybe larger packs are the way to go, maybe they need to look at blind boxed single figures with the candy at the checkouts.. as impulse buys to get the kids hooked. The whole thing is a bit of a mystery for us, we love and support the line but are a small minority when it comes to mass market, we tow the line and buy at least one (sometimes cases) of everything but somehow we need to get people who have no idea they exist on board. I think they need to talk to some kids, I know it sounds kinda daft but ask their target age group what they would want.... It's all well a bunch of grownups making what they want and assuming as they are toys that kids will but into it but maybe we're missing some spark that makes them 'cool' to kids. Just some more of my thoughts, i'm a 2 week here newbie T.

Dont feel too bad... Back in my wreckless youth I went to a fancy dress party as 'Pammy Anderson a la BarbWire' - rubber miniskirt & blouse, wig, lippy and heels... the works... Oddly by the time I came home I looked more like Eddie Izzard than Pammy!! It really seemed a good idea when my drunken female friend suggest it whislt we were working out costumes in the pub a few weeks before the party.... I actually think it's about HOW they are sold as much as what is selling, I think the reasons they have failed so far are more to do with a lack of brand recognition, not so 'big store display' friendly packaging and poor product placement in store. I've already said that I think the they dhould go back to peg type packaging, when I've seen minimates in Target or TRU there is one or two little cases on the shelf the boxes are just not eye catching. T.

Definitely zombies! I am such a fam of Romero and movies like Shaun of the Dead! I come out my door and see a small army of SWAT guys walking down my very quiet, very nonchalant, very family-oriented street. I was thinking..."where did I put that cricket bat". So mines a pint too on a slightly mor serious note, Antacost has good point about what stores carry these, I also think the packaging and where they are placed is hugely important.. I never thought I'd hear myself say it but they should go back to the hanging peg packaging as that gives then a much better chance to be seen than crammed in a small box on a lower shelf. Do the big stores specify how they want things packaged? T.

Oddly that's exactly what I did yesterday Mr C.... I actually typed a reply to one of the last posts but decided not to post it because I didn't want to rock the boat further out of respect for the board.
