I found my TWD minimates near the video game licensed toys, separate from the Marvel minimates.

Sounds interesting. How does this work?

Found Rick, Glenn and Shane at my local TRU. Only 1 of each Glenn and Shane but about 3-4 of Rick and zombies packs. I also stopped by a LCS to get the B&W Dale. Good times were had.

I have seen Minimates here and there having attended San Diego Comic Con 4 of the last 5 years. I am getting married soon, so I recently decided to adorn my group's boutonnieres with Lego or Minimates figures. After discovering that Lego figures are typically not sold loose and only as part of playsets, I decided on Minimates. I will be using current-run or almost-current-run Minimates as to minimize financial damage. Now that I have started to look into these, I am starting to buy up more for my own personal collection. I originally bought the SDCC/TRU 2011 MvC3 4-pack, but I spotted a second one, so I bought an extra pack for keeps. That started it all... I was thinking of hot gluing the figures to a safety pin to be able to affix them to the boutonniere without long term damage when I pull off the hot glue after the wedding. Anyone have any thoughts as to other mounting methods?
