I preordered from GameStop. They have the best preorder bonuses, at least that I've seen. When you preorder from GameStop you get access to a special gun pack, an extra creature dome ( the way it was described it sounds similar to Mad Moxxie's dome ), and I think you'll get the Mechromancer character for free when she is available.

So i am super stoked to pick up borderlands 2. Anyone on ps3 looking to play some co-op when it drops? My psn is freaqualizer.

So..my shipment the latest mvc3 minimates have arrived. This MODOK is amazing! Even the updated Thor and Dr. Doom are phenominal remakes. I love minimates. They are the only toyline i have continued to purchase..so even though when my girlfriend applied to work for Diamond comics and interviewed but wasn't selected for the position..god bless your toymaking sensibilities.

I recently went back and rewatched DD. It. Wasn't. Bad. The film itself is okay. The acting doesn't even suck as much as people say it does. Here's the problem is the <i>soundtrack</i>. When you get a kids movie about a crime fighter that's almost exclusively rap, hip hop and pop music in theme, you've got issues. The entire thing needed a better score. Musical. Batman-esk. That's just my take on it. I liked DD. I liked the first Hulk movie better than the second. And while we're at it, can I point out how much I HATE cinematic reboots? they don't work. The general audience doesn't understand them. The Hulk turned out well, because they treated it as "Okay, the first movie happened, but we're ignoring it for the most part". If you're going to do a DD reboot, treat it like that.

(Elektra had a lot more problems, but I love Jen garner, so there. Hah!)

I think i must disagree about the soundtrack being the issue. I seem to recall that soundtrack having several rock and hard rock bands on it. Including Rob Zombie's man without fear. I remember thinking the soundtrack for daredevil and punisher being quite good..great even.

I'm so glad i held off on purchasing the original rhino mate. This bulked up-date (i am trademarking this term) is definitely at the top of my list for this wave.

The only Storm i have is from the gsxm release..so i'm looking to update that character as well.

Hey Freakquilzer, I am originally from Louisiville. The TRU on Shelbyville Road usually gets a lot of minimates, but they tend to go fast.

K80, I don't frequent the couple of comic shops here because its always the same stuff with the same high prices or they are just not competetive with online retailers. However, one of them just started reselling used TPBs and HCs for 1/2 the retail (instead of 100% they charged before) and this drew me back. Their mini sets are now about the same price as most online retailers, so I usually buy the harder to find sets only. If I can ever help you find something, let me know.

I was just in the Ebensburg comic store last weekend, and very upset that they had no minimates, the one in Windbur, however, had a few.

That comic book shop in ebensburg was just opening when i was moving away. It is a small world. A few weeks ago i was at a horror movie convention in Louisville, KY (which is where i now reside) i was waiting in line for an autograph and started talking with the guy behind me in line. He owns a comic book shop in the west end in johnstown..bent wookie comics i think was the name..

Anywho..no mvc3 in Louisville yet.

Found a case in PA today. It's an even case packout (3-3-3-3)!!

If not for the paint-issues on X-23/Chun/She-Hulk I would say this wave is the best of the year by far.

The new minimates are great and the redos were all needed and much better than the originals.

Whereabouts in PA? I'm near Johnstown/ Pittsburgh areas.

Bilbo i used to live in ebensburg..for like 5 or 6 years! It was nigh impossible to find minimates there.

I'm dying for the updated modern Thor and new MODOK mate. I also love the updated Doom and She-Hulk. I never picked her last minimate up..so this is a must buy for me.

Rob, I have to say that collection is truly impressive. Do you collect every type of minimate, or just the characters that you're interested in? Like do you own every Spider-man that dst has released? I think that would be a sight to behold.

I still have hundreds of my old gi joes. It's a shame i didn't think about them. How long did the gi joe cartoon last for? I was watching them on netflix a few nights ago and was shocked at how few there were to be seen.

Oddly enough i went with Zemo and Vengeance. The Zemo costume always catches my eye. As for Vengeance, i had the figure from the toybiz GR line in the 90s. Loved it then..would love one that was minimated.

Alex Shelley done with TNA and possibly in negotiations with the WWE. This could be great for the cruiserweight division that has been dead in the WWE since like 2000. Also, it is said that Chris Sabin is done with TNA as well. If he jumps to WWE as well, it could really improve the tag team situation as well.

speaking of sony stuff, my ps3 stopped playing blu-rays discs :/ movies and games, EVERY thing else works fine on it except that, is this a system breaking problem or can it be fixed without losing all my saved stuff?

I'm on my second ps3 in about 4 years. The first one was the older style bulky ps3 it started having problems reading blu ray movies..then ps3 disks..then wouldn't read any disk at all. You can try and have someone repair it..sony offers to repair them for like $100 bucks plus shipping and handling. Most towns have someone who repairs them. Maybe worth it to see how much it'll cost you.

CM Punk is the only real reason that i watch wrestling still..his promos from last year (i think) were amazing. He even showed up to some comic con with the world title when he had quit after beating Cena.

He's great on the mic and a helluva worker. Until the writing gets better, in wwe and tna, there are a few workers i watch and that's really it.

Still praying for the day we get a samoa joe vs cm punk for the wwe title match.
