I found this set at my LCS. I have to say that its amazing. Flash Venom was one of my top wanted minimates. I am so impressed with this mate.

This is going to be an epic year for mates.

Does everyone display all of their minimates they buy? Or do you guys only display one of each character? (Not counting when different people have worn the same costume..like antman)

Zach is throwing you all for a loop. Its the return of DC minimates. If you take the fourth letter from each word, in Zach's post, add their numerical place in the alphabet. Then divide by three. Round up to the next highest number. Multiply it by 1000. And then spin aroun 12 times, while doing the Silence of the Lambs dance..it spells out "DC NOW."

I think Whedon or Goddard mentioned Kevin was (i'm paraphrasing) "an average guy you'd find working at best buy who happened to be a vicious serial killer". But in my imagination, he's Kevin from Home Alone, and the ones being sacrificed are brutally murdered by his "traps" that seemed so innocent in the Home Alone movies :biggrin:

Just picked this set up in louisville ky. The set is great. After holding off on the Scarlet Witch for so long, its great to add such an iconic character to my collection in all of her updated minimate glory.

Can't wait for my Venom TTA set. So much minimate goodness!

Most of the 2099 characters had awesome costumes. Only one i wasn't a fan of was hulk 2099. He was kinda odd and awkward looking. Some of the xmen 2099 were pretty interesting as well. I just remember spiderman, the punisher, ghost rider and doom being the standouts of the series.

Well, i didn't think i would be THIS excited for a FF wave. I'm more in love with the corresponding TRU wave, but I will need two of the Torch to complete the Future Foundation and my definitite Fantastic Four sets.

Would Punisher 2099 count as a variant or a new character entirely. I remember being maybe 10we when the 2099 series released. Ghost Rider 2099 would be cool too..didn't he have a friggin chain saw for a hand? And i think i remember him being a machine or some such noise..Miry, please feel free to correct my ignorance. LoL.

I enjoyed nintendo land, as well. I am really interested in zombiiu, other than that i'm not super interested in much.

wow..these are freaking amazing! i cannot wait for these to hit the shelves. the bulked up venom is how i always preferred him to look. amazing!
