  1. Um, I actually live the super articulated Spiderman 2 movie figure. Should this be in the SMC thread? Ah, who cares.
  2. Will you boys just cool your heels or get a room ( or just do this by PM) A... room? But what would I do with a room? Okayokayokay. I'm sorry. I've been a bit snarky lately and I didn't mean to jump all over yall. I really hope that every one is right, because the fewer 2.5"ers there are, the better it is in my book.
  3. Okay, checked it out. SW/SM and Co/Wolvy are repacks from the TRU 4 packs.
  4. Agreed, but where are you getting the info that Luthor will use the 2.5-inch body? According to this, Ares is 6' 10". I've got no problem with his Minimate being taller than Wonder Woman. As for Ocean Master, again, where have you read he's getting a 2.5" body? That said, I have to say I'm just a wee bit disappointed that, while there's plenty of room to make big characters BIG, there's currently no solution for more diminutive characters. I'd like to see the founding members of the Teen Titans just a bit shorter than their mentors in the JLA but it's not a deal breaker. It just makes me wonder what might have been had DST been able to use AA's original 3-inch body. Because when I look, I can tell the difference between a 2" and a 2.5" and a 3" body. They look different. Sorry TM2, but you're going crazy. Those guys are 2 inchers. If they are 2.5 (not Bane, Ares, Braniac 13, or Killer Croc), then I will eat a hat (Sorry Ady, I'm a thief) OMAC is, Luthor is. I could be wrong about OM. *hands you hat* I guess this'll be settled in a few months.
  5. Hey, this gives me an idea. We should have a contest where you win a sealed case of modern cylons, to give those of us who don't have them a chance. j/k

  7. Okay, quick question before I run these back to the store. I hit target today and found all four 2 packs (yay!) and nailed them. But the Spiderwoman/Riot Spidey and the Colossus/Wolvy pack, all those characters come in the 2 TRU 4 packs, correct? So I could actually return these, get those, and still have what I'd gotten in the first place? Cause if there's no difference, I'm going to do that. Unless some one wants to trade me
  8. Thanks, storm 1:08! I needed that. I love it that you always provide the numbers; I don't even know where to look! Oh really? Hey, throw some lottery numbers my way!
  9. Okay, my turn again. You get to see my beloved. Yet more mindless crap. Here's pics of my Black Cat obsses-- er, I mean collection. Please try not to drool. Dear Lord she's beautiful! Felicia and Megs chillin. Marvel Heroes, Gashpon and Masterpiece. Incredably, out of all this, I forgot my Minimate. Today's pics are brought to you by the letter "D". Twice. In a row. Yeah... My #3 jewel of my collection.
  10. "Most Impressive!" [/Vader] I've gotta say, that's borderline obsessive right there.
  11. Hahaha. See? Quality control. I just counted, and I have roughly 16 MLs.
  12. WOW. Man, and here I was proud of my 20yo Soundwave. Dang that sucker is impressive. How much was he? Is he diecast?
  13. Yeah, but if it means better quality control on the toys, I'm more than willing to pay it. Some places around here already bit the bullet and marked the figures up to $8.99 *cough*TRU*cough* So it's not that big a jump. I'm willing to pay an extra dollar to make sure Spiderwoman never happens again.
  14. Sorry bud. I know exactly what that's like. Wishing to know some one better but not having the chance now. Our boys and girls over there are already in my prayers, but I'll add a special one for you. *Hunts down and political commentary in thread*
  15. My predictions for 2007. This year: Minimates! Some Marvel, some DC, some exclusives and some free. Thank you.
  16. BTW, the ToyBiz SMCs are now on closeout at my local WM for $5 each. Mostly villains, which rocks IMHO.
  17. It depends. I usually don't, or if I do I use clear nail polish. The sealants, IMHO are for something that will never move and you don't ever ant to chip.
  18. Ah danggit! I keep getting JoeQ Spidey mixed up with the 70's Amazing Armored Spiderman.
  19. No, but I still question some of their choices on some figures.
  20. Yep. I used some Plastidip on twist ties. i think he looks awesome. Wait... IRON Spidey? Are you sure you don't mean 2099? I got him and he's pure love. The villains, I'm debating on Doc Ock and Rhino. I have Ock, but not in that paint job, and Rhino I've heard the figure is kinda weak.
  21. Gah. Got ML Spiderwoman the other day. What a piece of TRASH!!!! I've had issues with ToyBiz in the past, I've ALWAYS had issues with their quality control. But SW, her leg joints are so loose they were almost entirely ripped out. Her ankles and hands wouldn't bend, and her elbows were blued together. Considering that that mold is crap anyways, I'm just taking her back. I've got a pretty good eye, so I know that she hadn't been opened. But the figure is ruined. It's 100% scrap. I'm taking her back to wallyworld, which fortunately had them on sale for $5 each. The faster Hasbro takes over, the better. Hasbro has awesome customer service and quality control. Toybiz? "Take it back to the retail outlet you purchased it from" Hey JL, if you get out, can we talk about some Spiderman figures? Oh, DP, I got what I needed, thanks.
