I just got back from seeing it. It totally blows the first one away, in my opinion. Of course, I'm not a huge John Wayne fan, so I may be biased. Jeff Bridges nailed the character, and little Mattie was incredible. Wow. Definitely a purchase when it comes out on DVD.

Whiplash is pretty good out of the box, IMO. Just need to make sure you do the bleach job on his pants. That's essential.

Nice Christmas score, Harley! My Berzerker showed up today. He looks way more awesome in hand than he does in pics. (I feel like we are always saying that about Hot Toys figures.) That Indy is making my Sideshow figure look like garbage. Ugh. Gonna have to dish that one off.

Got a shipping notice from Alter Ego today. My Berzerker Predator is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. P1 has been eagerly anticipating his arrival. Somebody's butt is getting kicked.

Mark V Iron Man is looking pretty good. He better come with the suitcase. Hot Toys wouldn't be dumb enough to leave that out, would they?

The Sideshow figures have been easy enough for me to pass on. I do want Boba Fett if they ever get around to making him, but aside from that I'm OK with my very limited Star Wars collection. If Hot Toys took over and did the humans as K80 mentioned, I'd be in trouble. I'm already trying to convince myself I don't need the HT Indiana Jones because I have the Sideshow version. I don't need that temptation with Star Wars.

As is normal for Hot Toys figures, the pics don't do him justice. I read so much garbage about this figure that I was certain I didn't want him. Too short. Mask is bad. Neck too short, etc... After actually getting him in hand, I don't think the criticisms are fair. I don't like the bio mask, and have ordered one from taylordurdem on the SSF forum. Aside from that, the figure is amazing, and could be the best "toy" ever produced. Awesome detail, excellent range of motion, and just one bad looking dude. As much as I love my DX Joker and Begins Batman, if I could only keep 1 figure, it would be this Predator. Now I just need my Berzerker to get here so the real Predator can kick the crap out of him. Hey Shane, you're in luck. I happen to have some room.

Thanks. Got the wicker table and chairs at a local flea market for $5 last weekend. Didn't expect to find a use for them so soon.

I posted this on Facebook, but figured I'd share it here as well. My wife had to take a picture depicting 9 ladies dancing, from the 12 Days of Christmas song as a fun project where she works. She asked if we could use my figures for it. After explaining to her that I was going to be short of 9 females, she decided to pick up a few Barbies to make up the difference. Not really into the whole toy thing, her participation in the project consisted of opening the newly acquired Barbie dolls. Since I was in charge posing and shooting the picture, I decided to give it a "gentleman's club" theme. It was a huge hit with her coworkers. Aside from stooping to playing with Barbies, it was fun to set up. Picture quality isn't the best, but you'll get the idea.

Agreed. Hot Toys continues to raise the bar, and though my wallet hates me, I'm really enjoying it. And, after reading the next couple comments, I know to always watch my spelling and to keep my strict filter on.

Not quite. He's behind DX Joker, p1 Predator, and (snicker) T2 Arnie on my list. All jokes aside, he looks amazing and even better than the proto pics. Wow.

I agree that the boots are the weakest part of the figure, but maybe they won't look so plastic when the figure is finally released. I'm excited that the suit doesn't seem to be restricting his movement. A flaw that wrecked the DX Batman.

Don't know where you got those pics, but it looks like it'll be pretty decent. We need the official full reveal. Should be another great Hot Toys offering.

Can't wait to see spidey. I just hope he's not just a pretty statue. It's kind of important for a Spiderman figure to be poseable. Of Course I'll buy it either way. I just don't want another DX Batman.

My War Machine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but since it requires a signature, I probably won't actually get it until Monday. As excited as I am about War Machine, something else arrived today that completely stole his thunder.

Nice figure, K80. I was planning to buy Firefly, but too many other cool opportunities came up. Should have a couple new additions by the end of this week. Also paid for my War Machine Preorder yesterday, so I guess that one is coming soon as well. It's been an expensive week.

I bought a Blu-Ray player yesterday. I've wanted it for a while, but waited for a good price. Got my HDTV a couple weeks ago, and now I'm set. I always said the first Blu-Ray movie I'd watch at home would be The Dark Knight, so that was what I had to watch. I was blown away at the difference between that and a standard DVD on my old TV. WOW! Now I just want to sit around and watch movies.

Won't know for sure until Sunday, but I think I just made a deal for a P1 Predator. Updates to follow.

Finally a license I'm not interested in. I've never seen the original, and I don't really have any desire to see the new one. I think I can safely say I'm out on this one, even though I said the same about the Platoon figures before caving and preordering Barnes. hahaha!!
