Thanks guys! I find part swapping the most fun part of customizing. So this photo found its way to my facebook. I think it's cosplay from this SDCC, but I have no idea. but, I was inspired to make some quick customs. It's sorta calendar mates meets Avengers. LOL!! enjoy!

I'd be more worried my friends would play with them, lose pieces and rub off the decals. Not to mention the sexual positions they would pose them in.

I recently moved house again, so any wip customs have been further postponed, but I did this quick one last night. A few weeks ago someone showcased their display with a custom winter soldier using a battle damaged spirit head. He's been on my mind ever since. I went with an Invaders Bucky head instead, but took a pic using the BD spirit head. he's got repainted hair from BSG Six, Bucky head and Spirit head, Champions Ghost Rider Body, Crossbones gear, some pirate's boots and Magik's arm.

hit up three ross' stores today. one had one spidey/dewolf pack, the other had thor/hulk and the third had none, so I quit store hopping. But I snagged a thor/lady loki set at TRU for .98 cents

toy dreams are the best! I find they usually take place in a strange second market store with lots of dust and a box that hasn't been opened in ages or in old school aisle 7c TRU with rare toys on the peg just behind the major characters. tends to be toybiz style marvel or gijoe style marvel.

The screening for weapons is a knee jerk reaction. Honestly, I don't think the theatre corporations are interested in something like that as they don't make people feel safe, and will negatively effect the movie going business. Not to mention the costs involved; going to the movies is still one of the cheapest forms of public entertainment, purchasing/renting and staffing screening for the cinema would be uneconomical. events like this cannot be predicted, but limiting who has access to guns can make it less easy for a nutjob from hurting people and terrorizing his countrymen.

My first job was at a cinema. For a decade I worked from a concessionist to projectionist to manager at 3 locations for 5 companies (Hoyts, Regal, Crown, Bowtie and Lowes). I'm shocked. And the part of me that is for stricter gun control is outraged. Going to the cinema with your friends, family, classmates, or by yourself should be a place of safety and escape.

yeah i got a notice that my card was declined (as it was canceled). I'm just not sure I want to spend the money on these, even though I love the show.
