  1. Thanks Tim! It does seem there's gonna be a lot of Zeros running around. I know two guys though who probably won't be using him until their final run though, partly just because I called dibs (heh heh) but mostly because they too think there will just be too many of him. Plus one of my friends loves the original Soldier class so much with that turret, that there's no way he won't be doing that right away. And the Berzerker's name is Brick. Possibly because he kind of plays like one. Though his party shield boosting is pretty awesome. He's got uses, they all do, he just doesn't fit my kind of play style. Also, I can't be the only one getting the Loot Chest Edition, can I? I'm hoping it's a really well made crate, like the legendary edition of Halo Reach, so I can use it to store my minimates in.
  2. I mainly play Xbox, but I do have it on my ps3. Of course, I've never played multiplayer anything on the ps3 because I never bothered to get a headset. I personally always loved the Hunter. Phase walk is probably the most useful ability though as I see it. I never was much good with the Berzerker, but with his insane HP and stuff, you don't always have to be good. As for Borderlands 2, I'm absolutely using Zero first go around. He looks awesome. I am curious to see more of what the new Siren type Maya can do though. Should be an amazing game. EDIT: Tim, I'm going to send you a friend request this very minute and will absolutely team up with you if you want. You'll know it's from me. My Gamertag is the same name I use for everything.
  3. I am absolutely excited for this game. September can not get here fast enough. The first game is easily the single most played game for me of the correct console generation, and in second place for games of all time. I am crazy excited for it. But until it comes out in a month, I'm going to play Darksiders 2 when it drops this week.
  4. Man, those look awesome. Better than that one walla I have. I may need to track some of those down for stuff. Great pictures too.
  5. I did! And you know, everyone else....
  6. IT IS?!?!? Oh happy day. I need more of those.
  7. Rhino Rhino Rhino RHINO! I am so very excited for this wave.
  8. Heh, manholes. Anyways, no, they're made out of a pretty sturdy hard plastic. The turtles themselves have a much softer feel than the bases. I don't know how easy drilling them without cracking them would be. But they do have pegs for each foot, and they stand up pretty well. Mine haven't fallen over yet, and I've been doing some ridiculous amounts of posing and positioning them. Haven't had them spar yet, but it's on the list of things to do.
  9. Well, as far as I know, they retail for $20 a piece. At least that's what my friend said when he bought one at the Nickelodeon store at the Mall of America. But mine came through sellers on Amazon for $17 a piece, but that was when they were plentiful. It seems to be fluctuatiing anywhere between $17 to $22. I watched three seperate sellers run out of Raphael in one night. Don't look on ebay though. People want crazy money there. Including one guy who has all four listed in two turtle lots for $70 each. $140 for all four. That's just wrong. Now mine, mine cost me nothing, as they were a gift for helping my friend move two weeks ago. Also, Donatello has a wonky face sculpt. He's got a lot of Two-Face going on in that one side is gritted teeth and the other is just a huge frown. Plus he has the lazy eye. Sadness. But overall, they're great figures and I'm glad to have them.
  10. Just a bit over 6 inches tall in a basic standing pose. Only measured the one, so I don't know if they are different heights for each of them (which would be awesome) but I doubt they are. They're all around 6" though.
  11. So, this happened to me today. I have to say, I really like these guys. A lot. Not to say I don't have issues with them. It would be great if they were all looking straight ahead, but they're workable for the most part, except for Mike. He is looking up and there's almost nothing I can do about it. I would also have liked to see him with a smile on his face, rather than the serious face, but otherwise, phenomenal figures. 34 points of articulation, including a swiveling thumb on each hand, and a swivel ball joint at each ankle. Leo's swords are too small for my liking, but that's about it. Now more pictures. Also, these guys are really well balanced. As proven here. So there we go. That's what I have to say about these TMNT Classics. I love them, greatly.
  12. Thanks everybody. I used to spend a lot of time doing storyboards, most of which were fights and such, so I think I've had a fair bit of practice. There's always a few places where I think an extra panel could go, but usually that's just me nitpicking. I'm always glad when the action comes across as I intend it to. Thanks for the support of this silly little endeavor of mine, thus far.
  13. I agree with you entirely. That would be awesome, and probably suit my needs as well. It's tuesday, after all.
  14. A very special thanks to TBT! for single handedly providing all the mates and the inspiration for today's fight. It's not quite a gang war, but I hope you like it.
  15. 17 minutes by my clock. Which is what I go by for myself. You know, because it's mine.
  16. He's actually from the Mighty set, Tim. Worthy = Hammer Smash. Mighty = TRON superheroes
  17. Hey, thanks BHM. I'm glad you enjoy SOMETHING I contribute to this forum. On to other things, this thing right here? This thing is amazing. Way to go Luke.
  18. Oh man, I know! I spent a couple minutes trying to get it all off (believe it or not, it was much worse than that before I started) until I finally gave up. I agree with YB. I would recommend blue painter's tape, but you can't see through that so it doesn't show things off in the package and then how do you know if you've got everything in there. A less sticky evil tape for all please.
  19. I'm about to Widow-spam the hell out of this thread, so bare with me. A while back, I commissioned Luke to paint a hairpiece for me. Specifically the Femme Fatales Dawn hairpiece, because I wanted it for my Black Widow. Let's look at the results. New hair placed on all existing Black Widows. Champions Black Widow Iron Man 2 Black Widow Avengers Black Widow And a few kitbashes for good measure. Silver setup Black Widow. Mirage's belt isn't quite right, but I had no other options. Face is Magik's. And this one is mine. How I will be keeping her. The double widow symbol belts is something of a bother to me, but not enough to not keep me from it. Avengers Widow Body, Champions Widow belt and bracelets and Maria Hill head. I have chosen this as mine. Luke, thank you so much. I mean it. And that's the end of the Widow spamming.
  20. That's exceptionally irresponsible of me. This is the actual use of that piece. (not minimates, so if I need to delete this picture, I will) This is the Alteisen from the Super Robot Chogokin line. Pretty much the only toy line I collect outside of minimates. Just got it a couple days ago and I was messing around with the pieces today.
  21. Still one of my absolute favorite mates. Now with added badass.
