the targets around here are not really collector friendly. when I used to collect DCUC figures I would constantly meet resistance when asking an employee to check the DCPI number on their computer, or when I scan a figure and their price scanner says more in the back room and ask them to bring them out or ask what was back there, occasionally get people saying they cannot do that for toys, citing "policy". Had a TRU, the one about a 30 minute drive north, not the one 5 minutes away. They gave me crap about holding a figure because "they cannot hold collectibles".

Speaking of new stuff at TRU. I didn't know whether to make it a new thread, but since this is about something new about TRU, figure it would be at home here and hopefully help out some fellow minimate collectors. some stores are doing their inventory right now, the TRU near me is doing it. Maybe found one stashed around somewhere. Those kind of finds are awesome. I remember finding a dirty beat up Marvel Legends Dr Strange at target a few years ago and it rang up for 1.70

if they're doing a shadowland daredevil, I can see them doing a Lady Bullseye as well.

I don't have a dog in the classic vs modern versions. I would love classic original New Mutants, but would hate the later incarnation. I want Modern X-Factor but would hate the 90s version.

I love everything announced so far. But this has me off the charts with excitement. Someone corner Georg. DCD could easily get some of that TRU money with DC Minimates. . . . . On a separate note: I predict Chuck will announce the return of Minimates to Target. ugh I hope not. at least not for exclusives. Targets around here suck. They are as bad as walmart when it comes to finding someone to actually help you. Plus they all have a "collector bias" around here probably due to the people that buy up stuff for the local comic shops.

These things have been sitting in the TRU warehouse for a month. Stopped by and talked to my friend who works there tonight and he showed me on the computer that they arrived to the warehouse for the South East on June 15th. There was a similar holdup when the first wave came out, but not as bad. Hopefully these will start shipping ASAP.

I had a recent dilemma recently when selling off my entire DCUC figure collection. I went the sell them individually route. What didn't sell sold in a set.

UPCs wouldn't matter. They will just show as normal minimates sku number. So they may say they have a dozen of the upc you just gave them, but they could all just be Thor/Loki's.

Due to space it comes down to which ones I really like. I no longer have any Kree or Skrulls. I have 6 each of Hydra and AIM (had 12 AIM at one point). 4 Multiple Men, and 2 Hellfire Guards.

right now i'm more curious at any SDCC Exclusive box sets.

Since these are a one and done wave. They already have another Sku in their computer system for a second wave of IM 2 minimates.
