I decided to call my nearest mall which has 1 store each of FYE and SUNCOAST

Suncoast only had the zombie pack

but FYE had 1 Hobby/Scarlet pack! Theyre holding it for a fam member to pick up who is in the mall as I type this lol

Well, I finally got the Bombmate in the mail today and while I am extremely excited to add this rare figure to my collection I am disappointed at the condition that he's in.

The fact that he's opened doesn't bother me but when you drop a ton of cash on a Minimate I guess you expect that it won't be discolored from age and/or sun exposure. But it's my own fault since I didn't ask to see a picture before I bought it. Caveat Emptor and all that...

This isn't meant as an attack on TC23 - I probably would have bought it regardless. It's one of those bittersweet moments in collecting when the actual figure doesn't meet your expections. I'm enraptured and I'm pissed at the same time...is this what love feels like?

Im just saying yours isnt the only one and all my other mates are fine. I think its due to the color white which if you look at your emma frosts any white etc you can possibly see minor fade on those as well

Some pegs have grey paint on them while others are just white unpainted plastic. The painted ones seem to have a tighter fit when placed in the holes. Trying to postition them could result in twisting the plastic peg and it could snap. Before positioning, it's probably a good idea to make sure that the peg is actually moving in the socket.

Im lucky to report I got in my wave 5 set this morning

and no real big damage count except mary has the classic one knee that wont bend

other then that i got off lucky

and if were tallying up my hawks had the white tips to their wings which I hear from you is better then if they had been painted?

I had a joker and wonder woman both snap right out the pack

luckily stuckakid hooked me up with a new lower piece for my ww

i never got joker fixed he came from the lcs

I dont think my green arrow robin and the aquaman villian have at least one knee that wont bend

on the bright side I guess Wave 2 and 4 seem ok

and I do have a few dc mates where i wont even try to bend their knees to save me the sorrow of the breaking

And the ball joints on the wings broke off in the hole sockets on the figures' back.

Maybe something was too tight and it strained on the plastic? I don't know.
