Looks good so far Jeff, I think your idea about showing peoples attempts, for lack of better word, is a good idea. Looking at the recipes it can be a bit hard to visualise what the finishes mate would look like. Maybe a photoshoped mock up or something with the recipes in future?

I'm no expert, but I would imagine inside most models are the same regardless of brands. I would opt for a middle of the range price of any brand you know/trust.

I forget why, but I was reading something to do with Sharon Ventura, She-Thing, and realised with a couple of decals one of the old Thing mates could easily become her. I would suggest this one.

Not sure if the belt one is totally necessary, but its there if anyone wants it. Same goes for non- coloured versiosn, will add them if anyone wants.

I thought that too. Maybe it was a simple missed paint app, but I think it looks too thick. I think it would be better as a face tampo actually.

I liked sha_ckwave's idea of modifying Quicksilver since the body can still blend in with modern 'mates but I couldn't stand the hair or face, so I swapped with Asteroid M Magneto:

Yes, its a novel, and a rather good one too if you ask me, though I think they did put out a few promotional covers, there in the back of the book at least. I think your right in regards to it being Bryan Hitch.

I also did some *gasp* free hand stuff. I re-read 'Soon I Will Be Invincible' by Austin Grossman, which is a great book, go check it out if you havnn't read it yet, so I took a stab at designing MM's of some of the characters off of the dust cover illustration

Dr Impossible, the super-villain narrator. The novel chronicles his escape from maximum security prison and his thirteenth attempt at world conquest. A lab accident involving 'zeta radiation' gave him superpowers, including super-intellect. He was diagnosed with Malign Hypercognition Disorder, what I want to say is over thinking? The large figure in the lower right of the cover in red.

Galetea is a robot superhero who is only mentioned in the book as she destroys herself to save the world before the story begins. She is the pale skinned woman in purple with pink hair towards the top left corner of the cover.

Hello and greetings, haven't been on much lately, old laptop died and the new one wouldn't load MMM for me, finally got it working again so I can catch up with the awesome customs and stuff on here, hooray!

While I was exiled form here I did some more stuff, mainly to test out the new laptop.

Finally got a picture of Titania snapped:

As you can see, the paint I used (I think it's Citadel's Warlock Purple) matches pretty well. Her hair is the spare from Vindicator, and those boots were left over from somebody; I've got a bunch. Really happy with how she turned out; what a great decal!

I'm dilligently working on making decals from the Living Laser template; the chest is easy, but his headband thing is driving me nuts.

She looks great Hellpop, are they Rogues boots? That what I plan on using. And good luck with Living Laser.

Bored due to the rain, so here's Flatman, not a full design, I just converted the printable Flatman 'figure' from yesteryear.

Whilst I can't advise on any of the ideas posed on here, I thought I would share this idea I'm drawing up

All it would need is a bottle of white paint, a new mask piece, maybe building a bit of a neck and shoulder hump, and a decal on the face and chest.

I also think Tinkerbell's skirt form the Disney mates would be perfect for Savage She-Hulk

Salivating MiniFiend? Now that's quite a compliment!

While there were more suggestions for a Mimic design, I couldn't work out how to show all his powers, but I did see a couple of pretty awesome QC's over on the Marvel board which looked great.

Instead I tried my hand a Living Laser, took me a few hours over a couple of snowy days. I sort of guessed at the sides and back of his mask. The handbook shows the eyebrow band thing going all the way around while peoples customs only have it at the front. If anyone can help with that it would be great.
