  1. In the end I took some sandpaper to Shaman, took a good 3mm off each leg, 1mm on the top of the belt piece and another 1/2mm from the chest. Made him a bit shorter, but still a bit tall for my liking. I've decided its the hair that's still making him too big now.

  2. It still says access denied, I think I know the TOS jumpsuits you mean, so can give those a try.

Just looked again and they now work.

Jumpsuits added to my Star Trek mega post on page 11 - 14th August 2013

TMP Male Class A uniforms to my Star Trek mega post + character specific ones for Spock, Sulu, McCoy and Uhura

  3. Sorry to post here after so long, but I've only just got around to purchasing the second boxset from Luke.

In regards to the giant boots on Shaman, could I just trim a couple of mm's off the bottom of his legs to balance it out? Or would that makes the peg holes too shallow?

I did that liney, it helps a little bit but not much. I might have WIP pics somewhere, I'll look....

That's a bit of a shame then. Would love to see those WIP's if you can find them. Any other suggestions of shortening him?

  5. I don't know if this has been mentioned on here, or somewhere else on the multiverse, but the old AMT TOS Bridge is being reissued but with some updates. Mainly communicators and viewing tower things on the station. It is also going to be a full bridge as opposed to half!

I know in the past members, including myself, have used this as a display piece for their TOS mates so I thought I would pass this on.

  6. Help in what way? I think there are some earlier in the thread based on my old design. But in case here are some updated ones:

Face, chest, front, back and sides on the waist piece and the garter piece that can be used for her leg and boot tops.

  7. Just a quick update, done a bit more work on the bridge. The tiny side supports for the steps and handrails were a bit flimsy, so I ripped the same pieces off of my old AMT model in the hope they would be a bit more stable. And they are.

I also stole the Captain's chair and station bucket seats. Only problem is it only came with six, and I need 8...

I also added this to the decal thread, but thought I would add it here too

  8. I dusted off my old AMT bridge model to retake some photos of my trek fix ups and realised it wasn't as good as I remembered. The scale was close enough to work with mates but Rand's hair made he as tall as the walls, which bothered me. Plus I didn't paint it that well and was pretty bad when it came to putting the decals on too.

While I was looking for reference images to fix it I found this paper bridge model on a papercraft site and thought I would give it a shot. It was way too small for minimates so I had to enlarge it, I decided to go 79% bigger, in order for the stations to be the right height and for Janice not to make everything look small.

Been doing bits of it on and off for about a week now, its a bit fiddly in places, even after being enlarged almost twice the size. Going to go over the white edges with a marker or paint when done, but here's a WIP.

Mine doesn't look anywhere as good as the pictures in the instructions, which disappoints me a bit, but hey ho. It measures about 35cm across, I think, and about 10cm tall.

Again I should point out, I didn't design this, I just found it online
